residents were present in the home. We were told by [redacted] the residence was not occupied. Our moving crew felt very uncomfortable as the residents were very upset as they realized we were taking possession of their furniture and personal belongings. After many phone calls, Rick L[redacted], President of Geo.W. Weaver, came to an agreement with [redacted]. We would work with the residents to make the transition as easy as possible. [redacted] instructed our crew not to pack any clothing. We could leave cartons for the residents to pack themselves but we were not to pack clothing. Our company agreed to help them move items to a personal storage area, [redacted] Self Stg. The remaining items and household goods would be moved to our warehouse. Our company also disposed of unwanted items free of charge.[redacted], the daughter of the people being evicted was also present. She was very upset with her parents and our company. We tried to be as helpful as possible and and gave her cartons to pack the contents of her room. We did not pack them. This move took several days to accomplish. We had to pack the contents and also attempted to separate the cartons and furniture that went to two different locations. While our company was packing and moving, the residents were also removing items and placing in their own personal vehicles. We inventoried the remaining contents and moved to storage at our warehouse, During the next few days, the residents came in to look for items they needed. They went through several cartons and removed items before we were given a chance to inventory what was removed. We received a call from [redacted] saying she was missing her clothing. Our warehouse manager searched the complete shipment. We have come to the conclusion, we did not have possession of her missing items. The claim that we have not responded is absolutely faise. We actually went above and beyond to help these people. [redacted]'s parents came in twice and searched all the storage items in our warehouse. They did not find her cartons. Our company has fully cooperated with her but we do not have possession of her personal items. We have attempted to explain we are not responsible for cartons that she packed. We understand she is very upset but we have searched and in good faith tried to find the missing cartons. Please remember this was an eviction, consequently, it was a very hectic and stressful situation. [redacted] was very upset, her parents were upset but we tried our best to help them as much as possible and this was the end result. Our company was hired by [redacted] do the moving job. We did everything possible to help the people. 1 am considering Filing charges against [redacted] for making false statements and defamation of character.Sincerely,Rick L President
