Iam responding to this e-mail from the Revdex.com Iam confused with this e-mail because what is it that this customer wants from me , first I apologized to the customer when they contacted me , they were not real clear on how they wanted to proceed so I was waiting for a time that we could agree upon when one of the customers would be home and show me what I needed to do to satisfy there concerns and did exactly what was written on the proposal and She signed it I did the work and they paid me , there was no mentioning on the proposal for Fascia replacement I replaced joist boards the proposal was for joist boards replaced and tightened the bolts and put numerous screws on deck steps to tighten wobble, the x posts were my Idea to help secure there deck where main deck was rotting I am sorry that I did not get those 4xscrewed into place this was what I was going to do when the contacted me, Iam still willing to meet with them to rectify the issue , but it looks like from this recent transmittal that they are intent not to have any resolution to this matter, they can contact me and we can resolve there issues

cedar beams in her garage so I did some extra work for her both she and her husband where happy with what we negotiated I am willing to meet with them, I have pictures or all the replacement boards and receipts for all the materials that I spent above and beyond what was in the contract .
As you have seen from pictures work was never completed, and several boards remain rotted out along with the 3 posts which fell and were never even attached to begin with, I am seeking a partial refund, he never made attempt to repair deck as stated after intial repair. He never contacted us after his vacation like he stated either, he also blamed his employee for not doing job correctly to our realtor and told out realtor that he didn't even want to do this type of repair anyway, he owns this business and it is his responsibility to make sure work is done correctly which it was not as you can see from pictures taken. This contractor should have been honest and told us he was unable to do the repairs, and that deck should have been replaced but instead he took my $1,350.00 and said he could fix deck. Now months later and speaking with several deck companies and a city inspector they have stated deck is unstable, and repair work was not done satisfactorily. i just wanted a partial refund, I understand he put some money out for wood boards and labor, but screws provided by me, and yes I gave him some architectural salvage posts from my garage, and I know that boards and posts were not $1,350.00. Again I believe I am owed a partial refund for work not completed. And I would like to see receipts on materials. Again in good faith I believe thats contractor knows that he took advantage of me, and was paid for a job not completed as seen by pictures and the danger of the posts falling over, after all I and I would not not want him to do this to anyone else, and I have consulted with my attorney as Revdex.com employee suggested and I definitely will consider taking legal action as well.
