George's Towing

Review: On 09-18-2015 this company was contracted to perform a commercial vehicle tow.

While performing this service the company damaged our vehicle. During the towing processing our truck became unhooked from the towing vehicle and suffered massive damage to the front end of our truck.

The company stated that this accident happened as a result of fault equipment to their towing vehicle.

The company at first admitted fault and agreed to cover repairs for the damage, so no accident report was filed at the time.

However upon being presented with the repair bill from the service shop, the shop which they contacted and agreed to pay, they are now refusing to pay for damages.

In addition the company was contacted on 10-06-2015 and asked to provide their insurance company information but refused to do so. The company was told that a formal report would be filed with the State Police and the governing agency of the New Jersey Turnpike and asked for driver and owner information to file this report but refused to provide any information.

The company customer service acts in an EXTREMELY unprofessional manner and now refuses to take any phone calls regarding this incident.

The second issue with this company besides the damage caused, is that they intentionally inflated the tow bill in order to charge the customer more. The company refused to tow the vehicle where we, the customer, directed them to. Instead they towed the vehicle 25 miles the wrong direct to their shop on day one, and then on day two they towed the vehicle to the location where we wanted. They claimed the reason for this was because the driver did not have sufficient time on day one. However the company charged us extra mileage for this which should be refunded.Desired Settlement: We need the following from this company:

1- Insurance and Bond information for company.

2- Name of driver for police report.

3- Company to pay for repair damages to vehicle as agreed.

4- Company to adjust tow bill to remove the extra 25 miles charged.
