George's Trading Post, Inc. Reviews (3)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,I don't accpect anything that he offers. Almost everything he wrote was a lie, did he offer to look at it yes was I rude and cursing yes. But there was never any "small children" around. Then the part when I shouldered a employee is a total lie I never touched anyone. The part about setting a appointment with me on the 26th is a lie, I was told to "call middle of next week" after I was to call the next morning to take his mechanic on a ride. To sum everything up [redacted]'s trading post is ran by theifs and lairs and I will take my loss and learn from my mistakes and never buy anything from there again and make sure everyone I know doesn't either.

Hi [redacted],In reference to Mr.[redacted]'s Complaint about his truck (ID# [redacted]), He did call a day or so after he purchased this truck. We scheduled him an appointment. Our Technition drove his truck upon the Customers complaint of transmission guage going high. The temperature did not raise on...

our test drive higher than what is considered normal. When the customer picked up his vehicle to take home he quickly returned within 30 minutes with the same complaint. At the time we had other customers in our sales office and instead of waiting a few moments to speak with one of us he put his shoulder into one of our sales associates and cussed and swore to speak with [redacted] about his truck problem. This was really disturbing to me for anyone to act like this in a place of business with small children around. I did stop speaking with the current customer I had to see what was going on near the waiting room, I calmed him down and said to call in the morning so I could speak with the Technition and schedule him an appointment to take our Technition for a ride with our computer hooked into the truck to check the guage and transmission temperature as the truck runs very good as stated by the customer, the problem is the temperature seems to be high to him. The truck is 10 years old with over 150,000 miles so I am sure it isn’t like a new one but is very sound and was checked over by us and runs good.I personally spoke with him the next day and scheduled him an appointment for March, 26th to come in and take our technition for a ride. I am not sure where the problem is. He did purchase the truck AS-IS with no oral or written gaurentees, but we always strive to make sure everyone is satisfied. He was never told no, When our technition drove it there was nothing to fix as it operated normal, but we are very willing to drive it longer with the customer if that makes him happy as long as he can control his actions and cursing while in our office.

Review: Purchased a vehicle that was advertised to run great, only to find out it only runs great for a half an hour and then the transmission overheatsDesired Settlement: I want the transmission fixed or my money back
