during homeowner's inspection that there were paint concerns. The repairs were made according to our paperwork. Jagoe Homes has a two-year material and workmanship warranty that utilizes both trade partner technicians and our own full-time service and warranty technicians. Our technicians have each been with the company over 25 years and are a great asset to our company. They are knowledgeable in all building components of our homes and professionally address items of concern. Jagoe Homes service and warranty also strives to exceed written standards. Cosmetic items such as scratches and dents are not covered after closing. However, when we were contacted after closing about a dent in a garage door panel, a scratch/scuff on the kitchen sink, and a mark on the microwave we agreed to replace the items. We also had the tub scratches addressed and replaced the island top. When I was contacted with regards to the microwave and range I relayed that GE Appliances requires that the homeowner call their service line directly and they will dispatch a local service company. However, they did not send a service company and simply had a phone conversation. The manual for the microwave says, "The product should not be installed over any cooktop or range with a combined BTU greater than 60,000 BTU" The range manual lists combined BTU's at 41,500. We have installed this combination of products for years with no issues. We of course want to follow up and have the issue inspected by a local appliance service company, so I will supply the company with contact information and they will schedule the appointment. During the purchase process, the home was staked, and the salesperson walked the site on more than one occasion with the home buyer and the slope was discussed. The existing grade that the home-site ties into does not allow for the yard to be level. Bringing in dirt would have increased the slope where it meets the retention basin and it would not be maintainable. Jagoe Homes looks forward to providing service as needed with all intentions of promoting homeowner satisfaction.
