When [redacted] came to our shop initially, he was told that we could not guarantee the parts, unless We order them from a dealer, [redacted] brought his own after-market part, which was bentJin K**, the head mechanic told him that it was bent and defective and advised to get a replacement part, [redacted] was notable to replace the part, because the store that he bought it from could not refund or replace it for [redacted] *** [redacted] decided to proceed with the repair even though the part was bent and there was a large chance that it would not work properly, in K [redacted] repaired the item, but it broke later according to [redacted] ***We cannot refund hiri for the first visit, because he was told that there was no guarantee on that part, We can, however, refund [redacted] the labor for the second visit, because the O-ring could have been put on the 1" visit

I am rejecting this response because: Mrk** installed new power steering cables purchased from uptown auto parts at *** *** ***NW across the street from BP service station in questionMrK** agreed to install but failed toMention anything being bent otherwise would have returned steering parts where purchased, his accertion of new partsBeing bent is falseMrK** only stated there were no O rings included in package and he did provide them only afterI returned to his shop with trailblazer still leaking fluid and then installed however I did not check under hood norShould have needed to do thatAt that time of service was paid in full, and MrK** advised that I may see a little leakage But would go away shortly so I trusted that word.Weeks later when I returned to his shop is when he suggested I purchase and he would replace another cable an he would Charge $labor which is the costAt that point I decided not to have Mrk** to continue draining me financiallySo returned to *** *** where it was purchased in and had been going throughout.This is when they an inspection and found O rings had never been installed and a bolt was missing from the from the powerSteering gear box that caused rapid leakage because it they were very familiar with my vehicle.*** *** in Laurel correct the problem by installing two O rings and putting the correct bolt on power steering gear box charging an additional $297.99.My desire is a full refund due to neglect and complete incompetence on MrK**’s partThe correct service could Been rendered and resolved at the beginning of initial visit.My wish and hope is this doesn’t happen to anyone else seeking service for a vehicle,After all this isn’t professional or good for business over all.Will furnish receipts upon request.Thanks for your time and attention to this matter.*** ***Regards,

Response to [redacted] in regards to Revdex.com complaint # [redacted]The main mechanic, [redacted], was authorized to work on the customer's vehicle on June 9th, 2014. After inspecting the car for problems, the mechanic came to a conclusion that the problems were brake related. [redacted] replaced front...

brake clippers, front brake hoses, front brake rotors and pads. The final bill totaled $454.14 after sales tax. When the customer was told that more work was needed, **. [redacted] decided not to fix the problem completely and said he will go to a repair facility closer to his home to fix the issue. [redacted] completed the work in fixing the problem, but later realized that additional fixes were needed. [redacted] was charged only for the work that was done; and the work that was finished was done flawlessly. [redacted] made a decision not to perform additional work at our repair facility and went somewhere else to do addition
