was a oné-day wait on partWith our company averaging calls a week, we make our return with parts our first priorityWe had Mrs*** *** scheduled ?? 7/23/for our technician to return with the drain pumpUnfortunately, this wasn’t soon enough for the customer, therefore, she canceled the repair and wanted to cancel the checkWe had already deposited her checkWe informed her that we would refund all money, except for the $for the service call feeWe would have to wait for the check to clear the bank before we could refund money owed to herAt this point she seemed to be fine with thatWe were under the impression she was fine with the situationWe had received a notice from the bank that there was a stop payment on checkAt this point, we tried calling her to collect $for service call onlyWe tried to contact customer many times over a period of days, but was not successfulAt no point would someone from our company tell the customer that there would be no chargeMrs*** may have misunderstood that there would not be a charge for canceling her appointment from 7/25/We do have a private company that collects all of our bad checksThey do not come back to usThis company charges a return check fee of $50.00, which is on the service call sheet that was signed by the customer at time of serviceThank You, AmandaAt this point, Mrs*** needs to take care of the bad check so we can refund her money to herIf she would have never cancelled her check, we would have refunded her money as soon as the check clearedThis is the way I have done business for over years I am sorry this has become such a problemThank You Owner Arnold H***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I was told by the technician that they would come back out the next day for the repair, but that I had to schedule that with the office.  I called and they informed me that they could not come back out for 2 days, as we are a family of 6 laundry is done on a daily basis at that point we went out and purchased a new washer.  I called to cancel and asked if there was a charge and was told no, so I stopped payment on the check.  If I was still responsible for the service call than what should have been said was you owe $79 which will be taken out of your check and we will issue a refund. I was not told this until I called to find out why this was on my credit report.  I offered to pay by credit card the $79 so it would not come to this, however the owner wanted me to reissue another check for the full amount and they would send me a refund of what was left.  Based on the fact that I had called at least 6 times and was unable to reach Anna/owner to resolve the matter to have it removed from my credit report.  The letter also states that calls were made for 60 days with no response.  I have received no calls nor mail concerning the the issue.  I will be more than happy to issue payment  of the service fee, no more and no less.
