He would gladly cancel the contract now! We were shocked at the anger and language this man used and we SHOULD have said fine and gotten our money back then! We gave the owner the benefit of the doubt that he was under lots of stress and we said we just wanted to know WHEN they were comingWe tried very hard to be polite and patient as possible because he had our money! He told us they would come 2./They did not show up in the morningWe called them at noon to find out what time they were planning on comingThey said they were not comingThey could come 2/On 2/we had guys come to our condo and tear the carpet out of our dining room and hallway, chisel the old tiles out of our kitchen, closet and bar areaThere were very large holes left in the floorThe installer assured me it would be fine after they used the thin set and put the soundproofing over the holesThey said the would be back on Frito tileThey did not come FriWe were very unhappy with all the broken promises and I decided to look on the Revdex.com site to see if there were other unhappy customersThere were other complaints at THAT time and some of the complaints were practically identical to ours! I only wish I looked at this before hiring these peopleThe owner finally told us his guys did not want to do our job because we lived too far awayThe owner told us he would deliver our tiles to us at no extra cost We said fineWe just wanted the tiles we paid for.The owner told us they would be delivering our tiles the following weekDid not happenI spoke to a person at the store and they told me they were loading the truck as we spoke and they would be at our place in the afternoonDid not happen that day, the next day or nextWe believed Georgie's didn't even have the tiles that we paid for nowtoo many liesWe told Georgie's we just wanted our money back We had to practically chase the owner down for our moneyWe wanted a certified check and the owner agreed to that but my husband would have to come and get itMy husband took the afternoon off from work and when he got to the store..no certified checkHe gave my husband store checksMy husband was not able to cash either one of them only deposit themOne of the checks bounced in a couple of daysWe checked with the bank before redepositing the other for the second time.-Insuf funds3rd time it finally clearedNow we had to finish our job that was abandoned We were told the insulation product was installed incorrectly by the product manufrep and the glue was expired.The holes would need to be filled in properly before a tiler could do the install which meant we had to hire someone to uninstall the product, fill the holes and repurchase new insulation AND buy our tile again somewhere elseThis has been a big expense for usIt cost us over a thousand dollars just to prepare our floor! months ago we hired the Georgies in Inverness to tile our kitchen floor and black splash The glass tile of the backsplash is fine We ordered a travertine We waited a longgggg time and it did not come in so we changed the color When it finally arrived we had some trouble scheduling the install before the install was complete the tile seem to be disintegrating I brought it up the installer (their best installer I was told) I asked if it should be sealed He replied it already was He finished the install using some tiles that were already chipped Which was unnecessary as we had plenty of extra I guess he didn't want to be bothered fixing it In the next few weeks I noticed that areas of the tile was disintegrating I called Georgies and informed them I wanted it fixed with a new installer The sent someone quickly......the installer I told them not to send I asked again if it needed to be sealed Again he told me no His answer to my concern was that travertine could be porus I was given none of this info when I purchased the tile The grout was filthy weeks after it was laid and I couldn't get it clean no matter how hard I tried His answer was to regrout and mix some kind of material into it so it would be easy to clean months later the tile continues to "melt" and my beaufiful new kitchen is ruined by the floor I have had several other installers look at it and they do not feel it was sealed I don't want to seal it now in hopes I can find a fix first I have spare tiles but I was told that surrounding tile could be damaged if we tried to take the bad ones out I don't know what to do I know its probably too late to get any satisfaction but I wanted them to know after reading these other reviews I am thinking of taking them to court as well STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THERES A REASON THE INVERNESS STORE SHUT DOWN IN SUCH A SHORT TIMME

We gave the owner the benefit of the doubt that he was under lots of stress and we said we just wanted to know WHEN they were comingWe tried very hard to be polite and patient as possible because he had our money! He told us they would come 2./They did not show up in the morningWe called them at noon to find out what time they were planning on comingThey said they were not comingThey could come 2/On 2/we had guys come to our condo and tear the carpet out of our dining room and hallway, chisel the old tiles out of our kitchen, closet and bar areaThere were very large holes left in the floorThe installer assured me it would be fine after they used the thin set and put the soundproofing over the holesThey said the would be back on Frito tileThey did not come FriWe were very unhappy with all the broken promises and I decided to look on the Revdex.com site to see if there were other unhappy customersThere were other complaints at THAT time and some of the complaints were practically identical to ours! I only wish I looked at this before hiring these peopleThe owner finally told us his guys did not want to do our job because we lived too far awayThe owner told us he would deliver our tiles to us at no extra cost We said fineWe just wanted the tiles we paid for.The owner told us they would be delivering our tiles the following weekDid not happenI spoke to a person at the store and they told me they were loading the truck as we spoke and they would be at our place in the afternoonDid not happen that day, the next day or nextWe believed Georgie's didn't even have the tiles that we paid for nowtoo many liesWe told Georgie's we just wanted our money back We had to practically chase the owner down for our moneyWe wanted a certified check and the owner agreed to that but my husband would have to come and get itMy husband took the afternoon off from work and when he got to the store..no certified checkHe gave my husband store checksMy husband was not able to cash either one of them only deposit themOne of the checks bounced in a couple of daysWe checked with the bank before redepositing the other for the second time.-Insuf funds3rd time it finally clearedNow we had to finish our job that was abandoned We were told the insulation product was installed incorrectly by the product manufrep and the glue was expired.The holes would need to be filled in properly before a tiler could do the install which meant we had to hire someone to uninstall the product, fill the holes and repurchase new insulation AND buy our tile again somewhere elseThis has been a big expense for usIt cost us over a thousand dollars just to prepare our floor! Our experience at Georgie's had been extremely stressful from Jan-MarWe felt this business was entirely unprof I decided to take this matter to courtThis turned out to be a bad decisionGeorgie's had an attny readyWe represented ourselves because it would cost us even more money to hire one.The court said our case was based upon heresay so we were out lots of moneyGeorgie's got paid for a job that was done incorrectly and we needed pay someone else to correct the workCourts only seem to look at receipts, listen to witnesses and not much elseLesson: I believe YOU NEED TO HIRE AN ATTORNEY,read reviews, never pay for a product in full until delivered and inspectedPay with a Credit cardThey allow you to dispute.-Expensive lesson learned

I am writing this letter to let you know what an awesome job the two workers did on laying our floorsTravieso and Pedro were very polite and pleasantThey cleaned up every night so there aws no mess for us to clean upThey are very metivulous about the work an we are very pleased with the floorsThey turned out awesomeWe will recommend your company to others in our community that are thinking of putting in new floors
