I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. As a consumer, I am the end user of a productThe said company I contracted with is or has been a representative of the product they sold and installed for meNow, some several years later, they have not lived up to the promise or guarantee they said when the product was a part of their sales pitchAs the end consumer of this or many other products and services, I think most manufactures would not want a end user of their product calling them to cover a warrantee problemThis should be dealt with by the product representatives and installers, in this case W.N.YInstallers and Home improvementsI believe this problem is being avoided by the said contractorI've been waiting for several months for this problem to be fixedI have not received any phone calls or messages giving me any information of the replacement window or a change in a company policy, such as the window manufacturer Only until I filed this complaint, I now sense the problem is being totally avoided by this contractorI was told several months ago that the replacement window was ordered and delivered to the contractorA later date within a few weeks of our last conversation was supposed to have taken placeI still have not received any communication from the contractorI feel as though I've been lied too and am being totally ignored by this contractorI will attempt to contact the window manufacturer to see what their "new" policy is. This past spring I was contacted by the homeowner rea defect in his approxyear old window (which was warranted by the manufacturer, not by me)In an effort to save the homeowner the manufacturers $inspection fee, I went to his home, measured and ordered unit (No charge for my time!) I was later told that the unit had arrived at Alside, but I never took deliveryIn defense of Alside, they were in the process of relocating their massive operation to another facilityIt is possible that the unit was misplaced or delivered to another contractorAgain, I apologize to the homeowner for any inconvenience, but at no time was it my intent to deceiveSincerely, Randy S*** WNY INSTALLERS

I have contacted the manufactureThey confirmed that they do warrantee their productThey would send out a rep at a cost of $to review the window in questionI was able to provided them with the order number on the window frame They were able to identify the original window order and offered to replace the window at no charge I would be responsible for the installation or pay an installation feeI chose to attempt to replace it myselfThe order for the replacement widow was placed at approximately 10:in the morningA few hours later, I received a phone call from another company rep saying the window in question was already ordered and picked up a few months earlierI assured them that I did not receive the replacement windowI was told back in March of by Western New York Installers that they would order a replacement window and install it within a few weeksThis was never doneOnly after many months of waiting and numerous phone calls it was then I decided to contact the Revdex.comIt is/was apparent that W.N.Y.Installer has a replacement window but never contacted me for the installation of the windowI picked up a new replacement window on Friday, Novfrom Alside windowsThey did not charge for the windowI will attempt to install it myself in better weatherI believe I was lied to and ignored by W.N.YInstallers for no apparent reasonI believe I have a legitimate complaint that should not be overlooked and documented with the Revdex.comI await any further correspondence from you and W.N.YInstallers

I have just finished up a manufacturers service with the door manufacturer, AlsideThe homeowner told both the Alside rep and me that she is satisfiedThank you, Randy S***

In response to this complaint, I apologize for any inconvenience however product defects are covered by the manufacturers warrantiesAlside, the manufacturer of this window has changed their protocol regarding warranty claimsI recommend the homeowner contact Alside directly at their local branch
