I would like to warn consumers to be very cautious when dealing with this agency.
I went to see Gerald Walsh in 2015 in response to an ad he had on a career website. When I interviewed with him, he said he wished to refer me to his client, a company with which he'd had a long-standing relationship. However, the party at the company with whom I would meet would not be available until three months in the future. I found this incredulous and questionable. It turned out that when I contacted the agency about the matter several weeks later, the company had met with several other candidates by then.
I agreed to go to an interview with another client of Gerald Walsh and I expressed interest in the position. When Gerald Walsh emailed me the offer letter for that position, the salary was $2,500 less than what was negotiated. He stated he was responsible for the error and he persuaded me to accept the salary error, stating that I could argue for a pay increase in the future. That raised another red flag about dealing with this agency.
[redacted]
[redacted] He could also promise to be more careful in the future when sending people to companies.
I have been dealing with placement agencies for over 20 years. I would recommend avoiding this one like the plague.
