Please see the response below from the Area Manager "I spoke to both Mrand Mrs [redacted] and they explained that they never signed for the coverage and never even got a contract Mrs [redacted] explained that her husband would of never signed for coverage and he was taken advantage She explained that her husband is years old and they put him in a large pick up truck She explained that they were unable to get into the truck, never got a contract, and never were called to update payment until the end of the rental when they got their receipt She explained that they have already charged back the amount and they just need us to accept the amount that they were supposed to pay for the rental In addition she explained that the manager would not speak to her and never called her I told Mrs [redacted] that because of all of her troubles with her rental, no contract, and the store manager I would refund the amount back to her card." The customer
had originally booked a reservation to return to the originating locationIt
was toward the end of the rental that the customer wanted to check the price
for dropping one wayWe utilized our company's website to generate the fee for
the service she was looking to addThe fee that we quoted matched the rate on
line and is accurate for what our charge for the service is at that timeWe
can only quote the fee and would not have added it to the bill unless the
customer made the decision to accept the charge and proceed with returning to
the one way destinationThe service was agreed upon and so the fee was
added and charged appropriately and is correct.- Per Area Manager

The area manager has spoken to this customer and has given him a free rental day for a future rental

The Area Manager let the customer know that the charges are accurate. The customer ended up dropping the vehicle off at the Chatanooga Airport. It appears we gathered the drop fee from enterprise.com which was $297 at the time. The Area Manager just spot checked the current drop fee from...

Jacksonville Beach to the Chatanooga Airport and it is even higher at $320. Therefore, we will not be refunding the customer the drop fee charge.
