We are very sorry for the poor service Ms [redacted] experienced at the Chrysler store The employee she interacted with has been disciplined Ms [redacted] doesn't need anything fixed at the moment but in the future, she will call [redacted] GM of the Chrysler store on his cell and he will take care of herpersonally

Mrs [redacted] and her son are dropping off his Mitsubishi at the Ford store in [redacted] tomorrow morning We will top off his gas and perform a complimentary detail and oil change We are very sorry for this inconvenience, we have talked to the employees involved to be sure they are clear that all cars are to be detailed thoroughly before delivery to a customer, anything less is unacceptable We can assure that this will not happen again We are sending a Chrysler Tech to pick up Mrs***'s vehicle on Friday to drive over the weekend to try to duplicate the issue she has been experiencing Once we are able to duplicate theissue, we will repair it accordingly

We are sorry to hear that Mrs [redacted] is unhappy We sent a tow truck to [redacted] two weeks ago to pick the vehicle up after we had found out about the problemUpon inspection we discovered that the power steering line had not been cross threaded, however we did find that the seal on the power steering line had gone bad which was covered under the parts warrantyAt that time we replaced the seal at no charge, we also found a cooling fan pump had gone bad and was also leaking, this is driven by the power steeringWe replaced that at no charge as wellIn addition we found that the water pump was leaking fluid, as a goodwill gesture we went ahead and replaced that as well for the inconvenience they had gone through When we last spoke to Mr [redacted] , he seemed pleased about the level of service he received and stated said that he would continue to do business with usWe covered all charges including the tow truck to compensate for any inconvenience Mrand Mrs [redacted] experienced

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Berglund Jeep did not just do us a disservice by not fixing our Jeep the first time it was left there for repairs BUT they put my husband in Harms Way The repairs were so obviously not done correctly (or at all) so that when my husband came to pickup the car , he had to be the one to discover: A The driver seat belt was missing B The leaky power steering fluid was worse than when we left it for the initial repairs Had my husband not discovered this himself when he went to pickup the car , he would have driven off in a terrible rain storm (as it was that day) and who knows what kind of a disaster would have taken place on the drive home up interstate 81. As if this wasn't bad enough, the second time they claim to have fixed the power steering problem, again it was not done correctly I was the one driving the car when the power steering totally failed Luckily I was not going too fast and was able to pull over into a parking lot just as the steering totally quit working.Berglund should be darn lucky I am not suing them for more than just a refund of all my money given to them I will not stop with this complaint until I am totally satisfied and given a full refund More complaints will be filed with the Virginia Attorney generals Office as well as to*** *** *** *** *** *** customer Service Complaint office in *** **

Mr*** received the title for this vehicle on March 6, we apologize for any inconvenience he experienced

We have reviewed the entire repair record; to date we have refunded Mrand Mrs***’ $This amount covers expenses above and beyond repairs related to the power steering issueIn addition, our Service Manager and Mr*** agreed that we would install a water pump and a power steering hydraulic pump free of charge as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience that Mr***’s experienced and to offset the cost of Mr***’ tow bill and diagnostic repair order that he paid to *** *** Garage; total repair cost was $The balance of the work performed on the vehicle consisted of an oil change and brake work totaling $In summary, while we are very sorry for the issues that Mrand Mrs***’ have experience related to this repair, they have received $2659.22in goods and services and paid $We have done our best to rectify any mistake made on our part and sincerely hope that Mrand Mrs*** accepts our sincere apologies.Sincerely,*** ***, Fixed Operations Director*** *** ***

all cars are to be detailed thoroughly before delivery to a customer, anything less is unacceptable.  We can assure that this will not happen again.
