I am writing in regards to the unethical business practice I experienced while interacting with employees at G [redacted] NissanI found the behavior of their sales employee Josh R [redacted] and his sales manager to be purposely misleadingI am unsure if I was treated in this manner because I am female but I believe others need to be made aware of their intentions to mislead customers On 12/I emailed Josh R [redacted] the following email: Hi Josh, Can you tell me the lowest price on the following? Stock B1319X Nissan Pathfinder SL Does this one qualify for the 0% for months? Does this one seat 7? Does this one have navigation? Thank you, [redacted] His response was: Good Afternoon, Thank you for your emailI hope you all ready for the holidaysTo answer all of your questions: 1- 0% is available up to months, 0.9% for 60, and 1.9% for 2- All Pathfinders seat 3- This particular model does not have NavigationIt is only available on either Premium or Technology

I had my Nissan Rogue transmission fluid changed at [redacted] on October on the wee of April 11, I noticed shuddering and took it to the Dealership where German Nissan declared it had the wrong fluid as I did not the Nissan BrandGermain Nissan changed the fluid to the Nissan brand on 4/14/and the shuddering continued to happen I talked to [redacted] and they have records of putting in [redacted] CVT QMI CVT as German said it was a Nissan brand and may now void my warranty for replacement of the CVT transmissionI cannot drive my car and tried to resolve it with since 4/19/and Nissan NA said the dealership I cannot drive my car as its a danger on the road and per Nissan I have to take it to another dealership to prove I need a new transmissionHowever the concern is that Grrmian Nissan has voided my extended warranty with determine that the fluid is wrong and have no lab analysis that the [redacted] CVT fluid did not meet the standards

Prior to going to this location I heard a advertisement on the radio that was 8800 off stating something in the commercial such as help pay off your old car and use this towards a new car. So I gathered all my paperwork I also have a discount through my employer. When I arrived I stood waiting at the door for 5 to 10 minutes as people walked by me and didn't even asked if I needed help I was by the desk in the front which had no greeter. Finally a gentlemen decided to come greet me and asks if I needed help. Finally a guy comes to help me that is clearly new and he takes my license and makes a copy and noticed that I was already in the system to meet with another rep so I move to his desk. Upon sitting down he is clearly busy doing something else because I am a female and he wasn't really interested in the things I was saying. I mentioned the offer that I heard on the radio and he immediately dismissed that offer was for me saying that is for xyz car and you don't want that. How does he know that is not what I want unless he asked me what I wanted first? He didn't really ask me what I wanted before sending the car back to have appraised which I already knew what the car was worth. then he comes back and tells me what it was worth going from the payment will be 300 plus a month to 400.00 per month. This is without running any numbers with my discount or looking to see what options were available. I clearly didn't fit the profile of someone that could make him money. The dealership even had me run my credit for preapproval which was not a problem because I have excellent credit. If you are a female and you want to be treated with respect don't go to this dealership at all. They will treat you like you are worthless and the lowest sm. I have done plenty of car deals with other dealers and this one treats women like they are stupid. I do look young for my age but that was not acceptable at all!

Just recently had my car in for warranty work and had a very good experience with the service staff I was kept informed of the progress of the repair work and the status of the job The open communication is a huge plus as one doesn't have to guess what's going on with the repair The loaner car was nearly new and very clean, which I didn't expect I appreciated the fact that I got to use a very nice, clean car while I waited for my car to be repaired Checking out and getting my car back was a seamless exchange and well done I highly recommend this dealership and its service department Well done!

First of all, I would like to apologize for the delay in response to the customer's claimThe incorrect email address was on file so I was not aware of any claim until the Revdex.com contacted me via phone, to which I am now responding immediately! In reference to the Bartos household claim regarding
the transmission issues: on 04/14/customer stated vehicle seemed to shutter while driving and to advise for repair after having the fluid changed at *** ***Through further inspection, our technician noticed the CVT fluid was incorrect in color and that non OEM fluid was contained inside the CVT assemblyRecommendations were made to perform a CVT drain and fill with the correct OEM Nissan approved CVT fluid to which the customer agreed The customer was advised to monitor and advise us to any further symptomsShortly after this service was provided, customer returned on 04/18/stating the vehicle surged when acceleratingThrough further inspection our technician was unable to duplicate the symptoms described by the customer and left recommendations/estimate to replace CVT if and only if the symptoms returnWe left estimates for CVT purely on customer’s description as we were unable to duplicate the concern at that visitWe believe a transmission replacement would not be warranted in the event of a non Nissan approved fluid contained inside the CVT assembly during the first visitCustomer called Consumer Affairs at Nissan of North America and investigated the customer’s claim as well as the dealership’s description of the issueThe customer was recommended to have a second opinion at another Nissan dealership if they were not happy with the results of the diagnosisThe claim was closed but Nissan did not show at the time that the CVT warranty extension showed to be expiredGermain Nissan was not able to duplicate the customer's concern, and stands behind the technician's inspection and recommendation to use Nissan OEM Transmission FluidHowever, customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to Germain Nissan, so in order to resolve the issue, Germain Nissan is willing to reimburse the customer's charge of $as a one time good will gesture and any further repairs or maintenance are the customer's responsibility

I appreciate your help in resolving this matterI'm happy that Germain Nissan's response to this inquiry
I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find the resolution is satisfactory to me with refunding my expenses as *** Nissan dealership found and fixed the engine shudder, as the issue was caused by two malfunctioning engine sensors and catalytic converter and the CVT transmission is working fineTherefore, a refund for transmission fluid is a fair resolution

I am rejecting this response because:I recently looked at your website and the potential to continue the dishonest business practice remainsYou are still showing a price that I do not feel you intend to offer the advertised finance rates withPlease note that I have no intentions of purchasing from your businessI have contacted the Nissan Corporation and spoken with their customer support individuals as well

Got a invitation for a Nissan Event which tells that there is Nissan Rogue available for 139$/month lease on down (i have the mailer) and a 20$ Target gift card if RSVPedI RSVPed(have the confirmation email) and went to the dealer who gave me 10$ Gift card(i did not know the balance then) even when I mentioned that I RSVPedThen a salesman came by to whom I mentioned that I am interested in the 139$/month lease option, I insisted on coming up with the price sheet including taxes etcInstead I was made to wait, take a test drive etc and after 1:minutes, a sales manager comes to me and quotes a lease price way way above the advertised claim and mentions that lease is only for Loyalty Nissan customersWhen I mention that I already have a Nissan, he tells me that you have to purchase a vehicle in particular time to be in that listThen I went home disgusted and checked the target GC balance to find out it 10$ (one more intended scam because customer have

I am rejecting this response because: You told me you spend $on average to recondition a car as a certified vehicle Now you saying you only paid for the paint job How do you expect to have decent paint job with $150? I certainly will not be able to get this fixed for that amount If you want to make this right, I will get a quote from a shop and you can agree to pay the invoice to honor the original purchase agreement which included repainting the bumper

We are very sorry to hear about Mr***’s experience at G*** NissanDuring or sales event that Mr*** attended, we sent a mailer with an aggressive lease on a Rogue that included all available rebates and without any taxes or fees includedMost manufacturers and dealerships approach
lease advertisements the same way, and we were in no way trying to be misleading or trying to take advantage of any of our customersOur goal is always to make sure that every customer that walks in the door has a positive experience and we want to make it as easy as possible to get information, so I apologize if that did not happen during Mr***’s visitIf there is anything else that I can do to assist in the matter, or if I can provide any other information, please contact me at any time! Thank you, John G*** General Manager|Germain Nissan Morse Rd, Columbus, OH P:614-418- D:614-383-

As part of a purchase agreement, Germain Nissan agreed to re-spray a damaged portion of the bumper The quality of the work is unsatisfactory The new paint doesn't match, it is rough in spots, and has debris under the new coat of paint The sales manager Greg S*** agreed to have the work re-done to a higher level of quality I returned the next day to find the paint looked the same as the day before The general manager John Germain said he "couldn't see what I saw" even though the pain was just as bad as the day before I don't believe it was repainted, think they just buffed it and detailed the car The original problems are still there, not fixed as promised I feel cheated and lied to

Our total reconditioning costs include service, paint touch up, paint repair, wheel repairs, a detail, as well as anything else we need to do to ensure that the pre-owned vehicle meets our high standards. We have a company that paints around 60% of our pre-owned vehicles' bumpers and we trust them to do that for all of our cars, and with that volume that is why we are able to get a satisfactory repair done for $150. If you would like to bring multiple quotes for a paint job on the rear bumper, then we would gladly consider assisting you in the cost of repair. You can reach me any time on my direct line or via email. Sincerely,John G[redacted]General Manager | Germain Nissan###-###-####[redacted]

[redacted],Thank you for your feedback. I apologize that your recent experience at G[redacted] Nissan was not up to your standards, or ours for that matter! First off I would like to stress that it is always our intention to be as up front and transparent as possible throughout the entire sales process with...

every single customer we come into contact with. We never set out to mislead or deceive anyone in order to sell a car. Our internet price is based off of taking all rebates that are available through Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation. We started using this pricing structure in order to stay competitive in the marketplace, as all dealers in the area and state have adopted similar online pricing structures. Every new vehicle listing shows the rebates applied and has the following disclaimer: "Does not include tax, title, registration, or documentary fees. Price includes all rebates. Must finance 90% of total deal through NMAC using standard rates. Any special rates or leases do not qualify for internet price. In-stock units only". At the time of your inquiry, Nissan was offering $3,250 in rebates for their standard financing rates (which are included in the E-Price of $32,098) and $500 if financed at special rates (0%,0.9%, and 1.9%). We would be happy to offer the same dealer discount on this particular car, however the rebates will cause a $2,750 difference in the final price of the car. I do apologize if Josh was not clear with the pricing structure and the difference between the standard and special financing. In no way do we condone misleading practices here at our dealership, my family has been in business in Columbus for 70 years and our reputation is of the utmost importance to our entire organization. I have consulted Josh on his email and we discussed ways that he could have been more clear on the E-Price so that we can avoid any confusion moving forward. I appreciate you voicing your concern, we are always trying to improve our process to make buying a new Nissan easier for our customers. If you would like to discuss the matter further, I encourage you to email me or give me a call on my direct line listed below.Sincerely,John G[redacted]General Manager | Germain Nissan###-###-####[redacted] Tell us why here...

I am rejecting this response because: The business needs to show all the calculations that come up to that price as stated in the advertisement. The numbers I was quoted do not add up to what was advertised. I would ask the business to add up all the things and show me the calculation.

Mr. [redacted], I apologize that we were not able to perform the repairs to your satisfaction on the bumper on your Nissan Leaf. We take pride in the reconditioning of our pre owned cars and try as hard as we can to present our cars as like new as possible. Our vendor, [redacted], attempted twice to...

match and blend the paint on the rear bumper, and the reason we did not attempt a third time was because he did not think that the results would change. With that being said, customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us, so we would like to offer the cost of the repairs of $150 as compensation  since you are not happy with how it looks. If you contact me on my direct line, I can make sure you receive the reimbursement.Sincerely,John G[redacted]General Manager | Germain Nissan[redacted]###-###-####
