Toyota sent a recall notice for replacing defective seatbeltsI took my RAVinto Germaine Automotive for the service and dropped it offThe service representative called me to say that the front brakes were down to 3mm thickness2mm thickness is considered a minimum for these padsI thought they might be wrongI took the car to another authorized service companyThey said there was 6mm thickness leftGermaine was exaggerating the wear in order to sell me a brake job I probably wouldn't need for a year!
Toyota sent a recall notice for replacing defective seatbelts. I took my RAV4 into Germaine Automotive for the service and dropped it off. The service representative called me to say that the front brakes were down to 3mm thickness. 2mm thickness is considered a minimum for these pads. I thought they might be wrong. I took the car to another authorized service company. They said there was 6mm thickness left. Germaine was exaggerating the wear in order to sell me a brake job I probably wouldn't need for a year!
