The second time I had to replace the wires she claims was unnecessaryand misquoted the estimate as I opted for the better choice of plug wires. Her bill total was approx$135 but she would only give me $120 which I excepted. The plug wires cost me more than the $25dollars she paid for plus $90 labor. I always guarantee my work but she had to bring and leave the car tobe fixed not just complain on the phone. She has since texted me several times the she took the carelsewhere and they replaced the new parts as I did even the wires she claims was unnecessary. Shehasn't let me know if that fixed the car but my 45 years experience says the problem is still there and ismore complex. Review: I took my car to [redacted] at German Auto Repair when the service engine light came on. [redacted] hooked it up to his computer, diagnosed the problem, gave me a quote and repaired my car and took about $280. I drove the car and it had the same problem. Took it back to [redacted]. He stated he changed the spark plugs but should also have changed the spark plug wires. Gave me a quote of $90-$35 for parts the rest for labor. He made changes and charged me $145.(48 for parts the rest labor) He agreed to take $120. The Car was still not fixed. When I called to tell him that the problem was the same he stated that that sometimes happens. He stated he was "chasing" the problem. When I politely told him I needed the problem fixed not "chased" and he had taken my money twice but did not fix the car he replied: "Stop [redacted]". Really? a female cus[redacted]er complains to the mechanic that the car is not fixed and gets told to stop [redacted]? My car died and left me stranded on the side of the road. I had to have it towed and found out the problem was the fuel pump and filter. [redacted] changed unnecessary parts and took my money AND told a female cus[redacted]er to Stop [redacted]. That's just not right! So no [redacted]. Now I'm taking action. First, the Revdex.com to report mechanics who take your money but do not repair the car, and disrespect women. I doubt a mechanic would tell a man to stop [redacted] when he failed to fix his car!!!Desired Settlement: First I want the Revdex.com informed. I want German Auto Repair to know that a complaint has been lodged against them so that hopefully they will not treat the next person the same. GAR is a one man shop that came well recommended. They only take cash. I didn't walk in blind. But I did walk out with my eyes opened![redacted] did unnecessary work. He should be held accountable for that. He can't return the parts he sold me but he should refund me for the unnecessary time/labor he charged me at $90 an

This type of response from German Auto Repair leaves me fearful and anxious for my safety.

My issues were not addressed,

In case it is helpful I can tell you that after taking my car to [redacted] Ford in Costa Mesa for identification and repair of the actual problem it runs perfect. Unfortunately, [redacted] Ford informed me that the spark plug and spark plug wires installed by German Auto Repair needed to be removed and replaced also. I am not a mechanic. I do know that after GAR "fixed" my car twice it did not run good or at all. After Ford fixed my car, it runs perfect. Ford managed to fix my car without any name calling or attacks on my character, Aside from needing a new tire Ford finds no other issues need attention at this time. Ford tells me my 2001 car is in good shape for its age.

The bot[redacted] line is simple. I paid for work/labor and parts from German Auto Repair that did not contribute to fixing my car, were unnecessary and ultimately faulty, needing to be replaced. AS a customer, I should be compensated by the merchant that did the faulty work. Mechanics should not get away with treating women like this when it comes to car repairs.
