Have been having our BMW's (3 & 5 series) serviced and repaired by GMW over the past 10 years. [redacted] is extremely knowledgeable on the cars and is spot on what repair is needed. I drive from the east valley to have the car worked on so GMW is worth the drive. Will continue to have the car serviced there. A+

German Motor Works is my go to place for any and all issues I HAD, or might have with my BMW. Not only do they know everything there is to know about BMW's they always create a friendly environment, and make sure any and all issues you bring to them with your BMW are fixed promptly and to you satisfaction.

The location of the shop is FANTASTIC because it is conveniently placed for me, but also for everyone else due to its close proximity to the Loop 101 and Scottsdale Rd. The shop also is located close to a Car wash so if you don't want to sit around you can go watch TV and grab a snack as you wait for your car to be finished.

Overall German Motor Works gets a 10/10, 5 Star Review from me and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anybody who needs there BMW fixed, the right way, and to your satisfaction.

Mr [redacted]  dropped his 6 Series off for oil change and brake flush ,we performed the oil change and topped off all fluids and performed a complete...

vehicle check set tire pressures and performed brake flush and pressure washed the engine and cleaned the wheel ,after it was finished I called and informed him tat the car was finished he stated that he would not be able to pick the car up until after business hours around 8 pm ,I told him that he could pay over the phone and I would leave the car out front for him , I have been doing this for years without incident ,I left work around 7-730 and when I left there were no cars in the parking area except his 6 series and my 5 series ,the parking arrangement  is parking for all the business no assigned parking and cars are parked side by side in front of the bushiness there are 12 business side by side each has approximately 5 spaces but are not assigned ,Mr [redacted] Paid over the phone and I left around 7-730 pm and his car was the only car in the lot ,,the following morning I received a phone call stating the his car had be severely damaged while at my shop ,I asked him to please bring the car by as soon as possible   ,when he arrived he said that his car was damaged while in my possession ,I stated to him that I personally pulled his car out and we always do cross checks of vehicles so as to assure that all is on order ( tech that pulled it in to shop  will not pull it out )we also have check sheets that we use to identify any damage on vehicles when they are dropped off ,his car was immaculate and I identified no damage when it was finished ,and I would have certainly noticed the whole front of the car damaged when I parked and got out of the car and walked right by the damaged area,,, he demanded a full refund and  that I pay for the damages right away , I stated that I didn't know how this happened as it was very high up on the left front 1/4 panel , I told him that  sometimes there were truck deliveries at the business next door but after talking with the next door neighbor we determined that  there were no deliveries that day  ,we attempted to retrieve security footage from the business next door but it did not cover where his car was parked.I told him I didn't really know how to proceed as this had never happened before and that I wanted to help just needed a bit of time to see what my options were as it was day before new years ,I told him that it was end of month and I needed to pay rent to my father ,,he said oh your father owns the shop and I said yes and he responded with well the just don't pay rent and pay me instead ,I told him I would not do that he is my father ,he said he wanted it resolved and wanted to drop it off at the body shop the following day ,I told him that if I did in fact decide to cover the damage that I wanted it done through my body shop ,he flat out refused and said he wanted it done only at [redacted]   [redacted]  and he produced a bill close to $ 3000  and when I called my body shop and sent him pictures and told them the damage he estimated the repair at  between $ 800-$1200 I told him that I also didn't not have low deductible on my insurance because to have a low deductible is very expensive and unnecessary as my shop has had ZERO  claims in 11 years of business ,but  I wanted to find out if I was in fact responsible for the  damage becasue it is public parking and after hours and and he had already paid for the repairs  ,the whole situation was just very strange ,he was calling me day and night pushing me to pay and even called the [redacted] police  ,who called me confused as to there involvement and jokingly told me to return his calls faster so they don't have to be involved  in a civil matter and when I asked him why he called the police he said becasue I didn't return his calls fast enough and  this was over the new years weekend ,,I talked to him after new years and after talking to my insurance company who told me I was in fact not responsible for the damage ,I told Mr [redacted] that I did feel bad about the whole thing and  I offered to pay the $ 500 deductible on his insurance he  said he was not going to use his insurance so it would be coming out of his pocket ,after talking to Mr [redacted] , I received a phone call from from a women at his  insurance company ( [redacted] Insurance ....and I would have no reason to know his insurance companies name unless they actually called as he never told me there name becasue he stated he had not talked to his insurance company and was paying out of his pocket if I didn't pay) but before I could even explain what had happened the women from [redacted]  told me that I should NOT PAY HIM as he filed a claim with them ( [redacted] ) for the repair the day after the damage occurred ,,so this all seemed very strange so after this conversation and further talks with my family and other customers and my insurance company I decided and offered only to help  pay for his deductible and  to he stated that he thought I was a stand up guy but that he was obviously wrong and ended the call , I have not heard anything from him regarding my offer and instead received a letter from Revdex.com About his complaint ,I am very careful to check and recheck cars and do cross checks of cars as I did when I was working at [redacted] Dealerships , I did my best to help him but he was not willing to accept anything but what he wanted and after talking with his insurance company it seems he was not being straight forward with his intentions for repairing his car ,

we had done  brakes on Mr [redacted]'s vehicle using 100% ceramic Pads as he had requested  at discounted price along with a free brake system fluid flush  to help the gentlemen out  ,he left happy and return few weeks later complaining of  brake squeal coming his brakes so...

 we immediately brought the car in while he waited and  and inspected the brakes and notified him that there seemed to be some tar like substance on the brakes rotors ,wheels and inner fender well area ,we removed the wheels and cleaned to substance from his rotors and surrounding Areas  and notified him that this may or may not fix the problem and that if the noise returned  in the future we would be glad to warranty the brakes as he could not wait at this time for us to replace them nor did we have his brakes in stock at this time .shortly after he left I had the unfortunate experience of having congestive heart failure and was immediately hospitalized ,my shop was subsequently  closed for several weeks while I was hospitalizes and then home resting , But left a detailed voice message on my voice mail as well as notification on my business front door  explaining my situation ,I came back to work and found several messages from him and I called him numerous  times as well as emailing him offering to assist him in any way I could to resolve his brake issue and while  waiting for his response I received a notification from Revdex.com with regards to his attempts  to contact me  ,this is my first complaint in 10 years of business and I am a small shop and my reputation is very important to me,  and am willing  to do anything I can to help resolve his problem  in a timely fashion as I had told him previously and is my policy .[redacted]
