I am rejecting this response because:- How is it possible that I am responsible for receiving a damaged product, whether caused by manufacturing and / or transport?- Also at least one of the parts had a missing mounting hole and another hole in a wrong locationThese are clearly manufacturing defectsOther defects may have been caused by the carrierIt was the first time I bought such a product, so I do not have any kind of reference for comparisonBased on the pictures I sent, GermanShop was in a better position to identify the source of the damageMy comments about the damages were always stated as opinionsI am not an expert in furniture damage, so I would never claim to know the truth about how damage occurred.- Why is a refund for my purchase depending on the outcome on a dispute between GermanShop and its carrier company? If the customer had stated the truth about the damage, there would not be such a delay with that issue. We expect to get answer from [redacted] within the next 1-2 weeks. With the wrong statement of the customer, he delayed the whole process.

This company stole my money.. I ordered Kinder, and I received the product that expiration date is “tomorrow” from the day I received it. It’s a 10 pieces of chocolate, how I’m gonna eat all of them in one day? Plus, it tasted like acid. So, I called the company and told her about my case, she replied that it’s all my fault because I didn’t order the shipping process with cooling condition (even though I did ordered it that costs me 6.99 dollars) she said I should have paid more for it.

Okay, what about the expiration date! That chocolate will expire tomorrow and I just received it today? She said, because I ordered in the last week (it was only 5 days). But, it doesn’t give you the right to give me the chocolate that will expire tomorrow from the day I received it.

She told me that was the manager and so rude to me and she told me to email the owner.. I emailed him, he said that it’s my fault because I didn’t receive the package myself.. It’s because I live in an apartment that has a front desk service and they delivered it to my unit. (Another reason that doesn’t make any sense)

I suggest everyone to not order from this terrible website. They steal your money and they wouldn’t refund you even if it’s their fault.

We can only provide a full refund after that case has been reviewed with the original carrier. Since the improper packaging when sending the product back the damage is much worse. We also already said that the customer has to file a claim for the additional damage with his carrier on the return shipment. The small initial damage is now much worth and the product is totally destroyed - mostly because of the transportation back to us. So unless the file with [redacted] is not filed and the case with [redacted] is not solved, we are not able to send any refund. With the very first contact we offered replacement parts, but the customer denied - so we did our best to solve the issue in the first place.

The same thing happened again. I totally forgot I ordert at this company before.
Wow, I forgot that the same thing happened with the first order.
This time I will send it back to company in Neustadt.
My sister is already talking to a place in Germany about this.

I am rejecting this response because:- As an alternative to replacement parts, a complete refund was offered.- No instructions for packaging or shipping were given, therefore parts were packaged in same fashion than received. It is not surprising that the return shipment caused further damage to the parts.- Aside from the shipping, the product had manufacturing faults.

Review: On 01/05/2015 my wife [redacted] bought product "[redacted] Beach Chair Sylt Design, Green White Striped" (SKU = HXR-0046) for $549.00, order# [redacted]. Package with chair arrived on 01/10/2015. When trying to assemble the chair, a couple of damaged parts were identified. Also some pre-drilled holes were not correct or even missing. After contacting the owner of GermanShop24, he agreed to either replace broken parts or issue a refund when receiving back all parts.My wife and I decided to return everything for a refund. We sent back all parts at end of January. GermanShop acknowledged receiving the parts.Then the owner of GermanShop contacted us, saying that parts were damaged during the return shipment, due to improper packaging. We had packaged the parts to our best capabilities, even put some parts in a separate box for better protection. No packaging instructions were given.For about 4 weeks, we have not heard from GermanShop about an update, neither have we received a refund.We are very disappointed first by the inferior product sold, second by the unprofessional treatment as a customer.Desired Settlement: We expect a refund of the original purchase price.
