To Whom it May Concern,In regards to the complaint filed by *** ***-***.I have made several attempts to close out this fileThe main issues being an open balance on the contract invoice for work completed at the property, which the customer has failed to payI have also been made aware
that another contractor on the job, Pride Plumbing, has not been paid for work they completed at the property either.The customer did bring to our attention items they wanted looked at after we had completed the job and a final walk-thru had been done with the clientI made several attempts to send my crew to the property, I notified the customer when we would be there only to have no one home or no response to knocks at the door etcwhen my crew arrived.In regards to the appliance allowance customer lists in her letter to youThe customer did choose appliances that met the allowed amount, with the remaining amount charged applying to installation and required parts needed for install

I am rejecting this response because:
The facts the company states are not true. No one has come to the home to fix issues and gotten no response they have come maybe twice and not fixed the issues and when here been very rude to myself and my husband. Also there is no balance remaining with Gerold Construction I have pictures of the checks which they accepted for full payment and copies of emails and texts trying to get work finished to no avail. Also yes we did a final walk through where we pointed out several issues and were told they would be fixed but we had to move in to the property so work was supposed to be done while we lived in the home we were in a rental property and could not extend the lease and could not stay longer since we had extended two months already to allow for work to be completed. Even still the company guarantees their work and anything that arises for a year from when it was done it hasn't been a year and they still will not fix anything for apparent "money owed" which is not correct and has only threatened with a lien against my home. Since the initial complaint I have found a gaping hole in my fire rated wall between garage and kitchen which shows the work was not done correctly and isn't up to code and it is behind the oven in the kitchen and did not know it was there until this month. So many issues and a company that will not do anything. I just want a refund so I can pay to have the messy or not completed work fixed.
