Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:The final matter I referred to in my last rejection response is in regards to the (Front Tank Bracket Screw) being installed improperly to wit: "Fuel Tank Screw was installed improperly and mis-aligned causing a "cross-threaded" screw to damage the Fuel Tank itself" upon inspection of another Certified Technician I took it to after the fact This damage wound up entailing the tank itself to be "Tapped & Died" to facilitate the Screw actually securing the Instrument Cluster Bezel and Fuel Tank Down Properly and as intended by the Manufacturer! When I questioned the Service Director, Jimmy P., as to why the Bezel was shaking loosely on the original date of service work performed his reply was, "They all do that", referring to *** Motorcycles in general (A Motorcycle Brand Known to be Manufactured and Assembled to the Foremost Degree of Quality in the Industry)Regarding MrD***' touting about the Headlight Nacelle and Handlebars being replaced (I have since my last correspondence received the parts) I would like to remind him that his Dealership replaced the aforementioned parts; because the curmudgeon he calls his Service Director damaged them I would also like to remind him now that he admitted in writing that I was overcharged $above what I was originally verbally quoted as a job bid and by default admitted in writing that I was a victim of Dishonest Business Practices, and further, given a Full Refund of $and change; it's because and only because, the install itself was not even a close facsimile as it relates to "fit & finish" to what was verbally discussed between said Service Director and myself prior to work commencing which precipitated the filing of these complaints in the first placeWhich, like children, led them to ban me from the *** Group, in other words, " Nah, Nah, Na, Nah Nah, now you can't be in our Girl Scout Troop, WHATEVER! If he wants to sling insults and label my behavior as aggressive than so be it; I would expect no less from such an Unprofessional Organization! I will give them this though, this Dealership with the exception two folks I came across; has the sincere desire to want the sincere desire to be professionalSo much so they spend a great deal of time throwing up the "Smoke and Mirrors"of the "Shuck and Jive" about as good as any other Charlatans I have had the privilege of dealing with in my Lifetime, so enjoy the bag of Sour Grapes fellas, but I am no longer a willing participant in MrD***' Reindeer GamesHis reference to "*** ***'s Service expectations" is laughable, as Mechanics in any Middle School Shop Class Curriculum would dictate if a Machine Threaded Screw does not spin in freely and easily by hand, the last thing you do is grab a tool and apply more torque/pressure to completely cede it in a misaligned and now ruined female thread pattern, Kudos Boys! And, I don't think my expectations of a "so-called" Professional Service Department at a *** *** Manufacturer Dealership being able to perform the most rudimentary services without Scratching/Damaging the Chrome on not ONE but TWO Major Components of the Motorcycle itself; are out of line with anyone else's expectations of the same In other words, the Average Customer would think these guys could perform work without Scratching/Damaging Chrome. The last issue (Cross Threaded Screw in Tank Mount) the result of Jimmy P's Craftsmanship was dealt with by *** Corporate Dealer Complaint Resolutions Office to my satisfaction, whom may I add have apologized Profusely for the "Bad Experience" I suffered at *** *** Motorcycle, adding they appreciated my patronage, even if *** did not Not one person at that store could even muster that much decorum, with the exception of the Clean up Attendant, Kyle, who drove me home to get another vehicle; he had the sense to a tleast say, "I'm sorry this happened to you today"! After having seen it first handThis lad has more professionalism his left pinky than MrD*** has in his entiretyGoing forward my ONLY solution is to not do business with this Less-Than-Professional Motorcycle Dealership! So there's really nothing further to discuss on my end other than the fact that in communications with *** ***'s Senior Salesman and F&I Manager, *** ***, telling me that, "This isn't the first time Jimmy butted heads with a customer" which is going to happen from time to time; leads me to think I damned sure won't be the last *** Owner to receive similar treatment and care at the hands of Jimmy P.; I wonder what they'll call the next customer who files a complaint??? "Aggressive or Loose Cannon"??? Or maybe they'll think maybe it's us??? Stay tuned!
Regards,
