Complaint ID #*** Customer contacted us on 10-26-to request a service call for her refrigeratorAn appointment was schedule for that same day and customer was notified beforehand of our service call feeCustomer agreed on the fee and a technician was dispatched to the
customer’s homeUpon inspecting the unit the technician determined the problem with her refrigerator was the compressorA quote of dollars plus tax given to customerShe was explained that the part was a factory order and that it would take 10-working days for the part to arriveCustomer was also notified that a dollar non refundable deposit was required in order for the part to be orderedAt that point customer decline the service be rendered and a service call fee was charged to her credit cardCustomer then called back on 11-09-stating that she wanted her unit servicedAt that point I explained to her again that being a factory order the part would take 10-working day to arrive, and that weekends and holidays do not count as working daysI also reiterated that the dollar deposit required was a non-refundable depositCustomer agreed to said terms and proceeded to give the deposit via her credit cardOrder was processed the following working day 11-10- Customer contacted us on 11-16-to inquire on the status of her orderCustomer was notified that it had been only working days since her order was processed and that it would take another 7-working days for her part to arriveShe was also notified that the factory was going to be closed 11-25-to 11-29-and the part had an estimated time of arrival of December the 3rdOnce the part arrived on 12-4-we proceeded to try contacting her to let her know her part was inCustomer was called on 12-4-15, but the phone was not answered, and a voicemail left on her inboxCustomer was again called 12-7-and another voicemail left on her inboxI ceased attempting to contact her upon receiving your letterA refund can not be given because customer agreed to the terms of the order before she gave the deposit and also to the terms of the initial service call fee
