Hi, I always liked Gertens but......................about April I purchased some annuals (mums, impatiens, Gerber daisy's and more) and they were great until or so days later they
lost all flowers and did not start new ones, I went to your store and talked to Julie at front counter along with my plants to exchange and receipt but she told me firmly that Gertens will never refund or exchange annuals!!!!!!!!!!!! She proceeded to tell me their was nothing she could do
I then arrived home and thought I will call Gertens so I did and talked to some girl and asked her about exchanging annuals she told me as long as it is within days, I asked to speak to a manager and was transferred to a Janet and was told she would NEVER exchange annuals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so I asked Janet about GERTENS website (on the back of GERTENS receipt it says go to gertens.com/atgertens for return policy) and told her it states for GERTENS return policy for annuals is as follows:

WOW considering media, Revdex.com, Facebook ectyour staff should be more understanding or at the very least NOT tell the customer that GERTENS website is NOT part of your policyI am not concerned about the money I just wanted good service but after THREE of your staff kicked me to the curb I now will not shop at GERTENS, I will also share the facts with Facebook friends and everyone else I talk too, I am sure that customer service has gone down hill now that GERTENS has grown out
of the family home town kindness to a monopoly of power and money now being the main goal $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I am also aware of fertilizers that boost flowering but stresses the plant in such a way in may not live long and will not bloom again..............Hmmmmmmmmmm

We bought a SAVIO pump WMCon 9/3/for $The pump was used for about months before being removed from the pond for the winterIn the spring when we went to use the pump it ran for a week, started tripping the breaker and finally would not run at all
I went to Gertens and talked to someone and they said that the SAVIO stuff was not in yet and to come back and see if we could work something out later
I went back in a week and they said that they no longer had SAVIO stuff and that I would need to talk to the manufacturer
I called the manufacturer and they said that my serial number ***-B was out of warranty because it has been too long since it was manufactured to be coveredThey were not able to assist with warranty coverage
I called Gertens again on 5/16/and talked to EricHe said to send him the details and he can try to get a replacement
Did not hear anything back so emailed again 6/20/Still not response
