Will doAnd the issue is NOT my returnI had to send to IRS for copies of w-2s as ex had him and he was MIA.I did finally get them and did file and provided to TaxAssCorpThe issue is them putting me in uncollectable status an tripling my tax bill, wihout my knowledgeAfter all, I called them because I wanted to PAY my tax billI will send you documentation in a few days

The client initially engaged our services in June, owing years of taxes totalling $22, Client had not filed tax return and owed 2006, 2007, 2008, as well Client claims we promised to settle for $on the dollar through an Offer In Compromise plan We
did not indicate this and do not make assured promises until all financial information has been disclosed per the IRS requirements Client did not return correspondence in a timely manner and did not file all open returns Both are requirements to negotiate with the IRS Original practitioner (not the same person client indicates in complaint) representing client recommend we close clients case and rescind all representation due to non-compliance of our requests over a two year period During this time, all enforcement action against client was suspended We cannot assist our clients without their cooperation Original work agreement was for $3, Addendum for including state representation was $1, Total fees paid to that time was $4,800.00In late August 2013, client contacted our office again as the IRS had begun collection efforts again We explained that she had been placed in uncollectible status and her case was closed Client claimed she still needed asssitance and re-engaged our services to represent her before the IRS We re-assigned her representation and began her case again on September 17, Total fee was reduced to $2,to begin representation again. The IRS was contacted and indicated that client had still not filed a tax return for and that was required Our practitioner sent the client all financial documents to be completed and indicated that needed to be filed in order to proceed Our services do not include tax preparation however this service was offered to her seperately by the practitioner Client was then e-mailed on 9/23/to touch base and she replied that she was going to check on and return the financial information statement (433-A) On 10/6/13, Form 433-A was returned and on 10/13/copies of 2007, 2008, 2010, tax returns were sent to practitioner. On 10/17/13, an e-mail was sent to client indicating receipt of tax return copies and indicated clearly that the tax return was not included and we could not proceed until this was filed with the IRS and a copy provided to our practitioner No reply was received Client was contacted again in December, and January and no reply was provided On April 18, 2014, client contacted her practitioner by e-mail and informed him that she was no longer in need of our services On May 1, 2014, all representation was revoked No further communincation or a request for refund has been received from client until April 13, 2015.Client claims that she negotiated payment arrangements with taxing agencies herself and the amounts are causing hardship If this occurred, it was because client complied with filing of the and any other missing tax returns per the taxing agencies requirements Had client cooperated with the filing requirements during either periods of our representation, we would have been successful in negotiating on her behalf In addition, client claims that she owed an additional $40,during this time period because of our inability to negotiate on her behalf However, client never showed current filing compliance with the taxing agency so any additional non-filing/non-payment of additional years were accrued after we began representation Every client is informed in writing and agrees to file and pay all taxes due during our representation period Client was charged a total of less than the $8,settlement she is requesting We cannot be held responsible for any additional tax liabilities, penalties or interest accrued due to clients failure to file Additionally, we would have been more than happy to complete all representation had client cooperated with the requirements per the IRS during the time of our representation She did not do so and therefore we could not proceed We would have continued respresentation and trying to gain her cooperation however client informed us of her desire to cease representation in April, 2014.We respectfully request that this complaint be dismissed and that our rating is not penalized with the Revdex.com Our company clearly attempted many times to assist client in resolving this tax situation Further, at no time during representaiton or at the time she asked to cease representation, was a timely request for refund submitted verbally or in writing. Please feel free to contact our company if further information is needed to clarify or discharged Thank you in advance.Sincerely,*** ***Vice-president
