[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response.? If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me? I have received a check for $in the mail.? I want to make a few points in response to the recent communication from ConnectEdI think it legitimate for a business to state "no refunds for no-shows" to their events? Nevertheless, ConnectEd has no statement to that effect on their website or on the payment receipt that I received.? However, this policy does not apply to our situation anyway which this latest communication impliesMy son was not a no-show? Instead, ConnectEd cancelled the event and offered registrants either a credit to another instructional session or a refund? A refund or credit would be expected in this type of situation since it was the firm that cancelled.? I chose to ask for the refund in November 2016, just a few days after the course cancellation? So it is truly disappointing that the owner has sent an accompanying letter informing me that she is refunding me the money as a "courtesy" when it was offered by her firm at the time of the cancellation and confirmed several times by email that a refund would be paid? I don't know why ConnectEd's owner decided to change her mind in providing a promised refund and now labeling it a "courtesy." ? I had to make a formal complaint to the Revdex.com to get paid!? In the meantime, no [redacted] prep session has been offered by ConnectEd again in months (Nov-May 2017).? Regards, [redacted] ***
