Get It Done Home Improvements

Review: I contracted Get It Done Home Improvements, located in Wayne, NJ, to renovate two bathrooms in my home. The first bathroom project was not completed to my satisfaction and the second project was never even started. Outstanding items in bathroom #1: Installation of saddle from bath floor to hallway; paint and installation of closet doors; faulty installation of shower doors; tub fixtures not sealed properly; leaking shower head; glue stain on vanity; misaligned electrical outlet. [redacted], the owner of Get It Done Home Improvements, received final payment on July 1, 2014. At that time, he stated he would return on Monday July 7, 2014 to fix the outstanding bathroom items. He never returned or contacted me after final payment was received. I have contacted him multiple times via telephone, email and text about completing the open items and he has not responded. This leads me to believe he will not complete bathroom #1 and I do not expect to use him for bathroom #2.Desired Settlement: The remaining work in bathroom #1 will require me to hire another contractor and incur additional expense. I am requesting a settlement of $1,000 to cover the costs associated with completing bathroom #1.
