Get It Done

I filed a 72 hour complaint on 11-22-22 and then again this week. The one filed on 11-22-22 is marked "new" and the one I filed this week is in process. (04000985) There is something wrong with your system. The truck has been parked in front of my house for over 2 weeks. I understand that 72 hour parking complaints are not high priority but please don't think this is good service. Please improve your response time.

Review: I initially choose [redacted] because even though he had the highest quote he was willing to begin immediately. [redacted] and his wife came to my home after I accepted their quote of $750 they requested a deposit of half to cover materials and supplies. They took me to the bank I face them the deposit. His wife called me for measurements on both my doors since he forgot to measure them. He did not return for hours. When he finally came back he had the wrong size interior door and a different screen door then what he had showed me beforehand. It got to late and his tools were loud so he asked if he could finish first thing in the morning. I agreed and he left. He didn't return until the afternoon. He was unprepared and had to use my hammer. After hours he finally finished. I was instructed to leave my screen open since he had caulked the ledge beneath it. The following morning I closed the door which revealed several gaps around the screen door. I contacted him and his wife said they would be out Monday to check it out. That was Saturday morning . When Monday arrived I called for a time frame and his wife said she didn't wanna give me a exact time in case something popped up. I spent the entire day Monday texting and calling both of the numbers I had for them they ducked me all day. Finally I called from another number and they answered. They stated they would be out by 7. I decided that my best course of action was to leave a negative review and contact a lawyer. [redacted] was angry at my review and stated he would not adjust my door until I removed the review. I had to contact a customer advocate to remove the review. He demanded evidence of the correspondence between me and thumbtack before he would agree to come out. He started out coming at 7 on Monday which turned to noon on Tuesday and ended up being him sending his assistant on Wednesday around 1. He stated that the door was installed incorrectly and tried to adjust it.Desired Settlement: I want the proper measurements taken and for a new door to be purchased and properly installed.
