Get My Cat

GetMyDog is currently using my name, city and my words in a misleading and unethical manner. In August 2012 I retained services from GetMyCat to find my cat Chopper. In an email to the customer service representative that worked on my order, I thanked them for their assistance. That email and my words have since been taken out of context and published online by GetMyDog as a testimonial for the loss of a dog.

I have requested that the company remove my information from their website. I have not received a response, and the quote remains up today. I was not asked if the comments I made via email could be published in a testimonial.

I started looking online for some help and get my cat was awesome! not only did they have advice they helped improve the way I was searching but I also bought the alert message that worked really well. within a a few days I had people calling me about seeing my cat.

I still have yet to find my cat, but get my cat website took my searching from zero to 100

Review: I purchased 250 postcards from http://www.getmycat.com for $199.00. The postcards were to be mailed to homeowners in the area who might see my missing cat and call me. I provided my contact information to be included on the postcard. The company sent me a prototype of the postcard that would be mailed upon my approval, which I provided, because all the information on the prototype postcard was correct, front and back. However, the postcards they mailed were not what I ordered and not what I approved. Although my correct phone number appeared on the front of the postcard, a completely random unknown phone number appeared on the back of the card, not my phone number. Although I could have requested a complete refund since what they mailed out was NOT WHAT I ORDERED, I initially indicated I would accept a 50% refund. They have only agreed to provide a $55.00 refund which is unacceptable.Desired Settlement: Because I have had to spend so much time on this issue, numerous emails, and because the company has refused to stand 100% behind their product, I am requesting a complete refund. $195-55 = $145.00

I'm not sure what to make of this. This was a customer who ordered from us close to 2 months ago. She has since had success from our resources and has found her missing cat. She informed us of this and was ecstatic, thanking us sincerely. A week or so after her thank you email we received an email from her complaining that there was an incorrect phone number found on a postcard she ordered from us. Our company apologized for the mistake she found and reached the resolution of a $55 refund -- which has been processed. Given this, I'm surprised to see that she is now trying to collect a refund for the entire amount of her order, especially since ultimately it was a success which unfortunately is not always the case with our customers.

I lost my cat Butters a few days ago and while I was searching the internet for resources I found GetMyCat.com. Not only did they provide a bunch of free info that helped me start looking for my cat, but I used their paid services as well.

The flyers they sent to businesses and the amber alert they put out actually go me some phone calls about my cat! We were able to narrow it down to a culdesac a few blocks from my house and we found Butters!

Their customer service was great and they were very understanding and patient with me, thank you GetMyCat.com
