We had a shirt that was damaged at this dry cleaners on 4-23-2018. The care label called for preferred cleaning method was dry cleaning yet this company laundered it and burnt an image of the iron on each of the collars. When I brought the shirt back I was told they would contact me with resolution instead three days later we called them only to find out they will not take responsibility for the shirt. I would expect a dry cleaner to go with the recommendations of the care label and to replace any items they ruin due to their neglect.
This was a miscommunication between the store manager and Eagan Production Facility. We have spoken to the customer and working on clearing this up. We do not attempt to neglect any of our customers. This is an oversight.
Okay, we have brought the shirt back to Get Pressed on Saturday 5-19-2018. Waiting to hear back from Shannon at Get Pressed.
STILL WAITING for Get Pressed to get back to me on the "claim" they filed for the shirt they ruined in April. I left two messages for the owner, Todd but as of 7-5-2018 have not heard back from him. They do have the shirt and evidently needed to file a claim that apparently takes quite some time to pay customers for items ruined.
8-8-2018, we have reached the truly pathetic point. So, Shannon lied. She never took care of this and this was no misunderstanding. This was in July handed off to Laurie. These people actually had a chemist indicate the color was defective. The only problem? Color was not an issue. The burn marks on the collar was. The color itself is fine, the burn marks are not. Laurie indicated she would go ahead and return the shirt to Nordstorm's. Yes, that was their remedy but we allowed it thinking all we really want is the shirt replaced so okay. Five days later I texted Laurie asking her if she got the shirt at *** at which point her response was "My bosses won't let me return it? It is at Wayzata Cleaners. I am so sorry I can't help". That about sums up this inexperienced, lacking of integrity dry cleaner.
The business acknowledged that when I brought my blouse into drycleaners that the blouse did have a working zipper. On Tuesday August 29, I took the same blouse into this dry-cleaning new owner of the same establishment “Get Pressed” with a working zipper. The clerk examined the blouse and acknowledged that the blouse was with zipper. On August 31, I came into pick up my blouse. When I went to wear my blouse on Saturday, September 1, the zipper had been damaged. I took the blouse back to the dry cleaners and talk with the general manager, she acknowledge that when they dry clean the blouse they ensure that the blouse is zipped and that when they press the blouse that they will unzip the blouse. However, she say they are not at fault and I said that when I took the blouse out of the dry cleaner plastic bag that the blouse zipper hook was missing. I took the blouse to a tailor and they say that it would cost $41.00 to fix. I return the blouse back to the dry cleaner asking them to pay to fix it. The dry cleaners send it out to their tailor and they came back with the same estimate. I wait to hear back from the drycleaners and did not, so I went into store to see why I had not heard back from (I gave them my cell for best number). When I went back on Saturday, November, the clerk said that the general manager would not paid to have it fix. When the clerk learn that I was going to contact the Better Bureau, she had me to complete a damage claim form. The general manage had to me that she was the owner, but I learned that she is only the general manager not the owners. I am asking them to pay to fix it or
I apologize and sorry to hear about the zipper on the blouse and the way it was handled. I am one of the owners and have no issues paying if it is justified and I am aware of it. The General Manager does not work in Roseville and it is only the store manager, which works in this store. There is no way that she spoke to general in the store. There is business cards on the front counter for the owner and general manager to be contacted. The existing Martenizing owner and manager for previous owner had multiple run ins with Mrs. as there is always an issue with her garments. Our claim rates are below 1%, which is with in the industry average per DLI. I again apologize for not following up sooner or following thru with this. We will take an action to make sure all claims are filled out immediately and distributed to General Manager and also our POS system will be updated to reflect the amount of times a customer files a complaint. Cut a check and sent on 11.11.2017
