Spiffy Mobile Detail Cracked my DashBoard and Broke My Gas Full Up DoorWe contacted Spiffy to detail our 2008 Chevy Tahoe LTZ after all the snow and ice for a thorough cleaning to remove the Ice and Salt build up on the truck and for just a Great looking car. We set our appointment up on March 4,2015 @ 10:00am. Upon arriving the 2 gentlemen started to clean and wash the truck. Upon completion we werent able to do a complete walk around due to scheduled Phone Calls that we had to make with our Companys. After they left and I was able to do a walk around. We were not happy with the cleaning and sent a email at 4:43pm on the same day. Here is a copy of the email that we had sent Spiffy.[redacted]Mar 4, 4:43 PMCleaning service today: Good afternoon,I spoke with a representative just now who asked that I send an email message today.We scheduled the $199 service for our 2008 Tahoe for this morning. The techs were very well mannered and polite. They appeared to take their time on the job. My husband was on the phone when they finished, so I went to inspect before they left. I am legally blind so it seemed like they did a good job; I thanked and tipped them.When my husband came out to inspect, he noticed several things almost immediately:1) An inch long crack in the dashboard that was not there previously (pictured below);2) smudges on most of the windows inside3) debris in the seats4) all the floorboards and running boards were not cleaned or wiped down5) trim on the seats was not cleaned it wiped down.As you can see, all of the problems are inside the car. The outside looks decent, but almost like an AutoBell service. For that amount of $$, We expected to be really wowed.Please let us know what to do next, or if you need additional information from us.We also included the pictures of the damage that occurred when cleaning the truck... Spiffy Contacted us on the next day and had someone come back out and Re-clean the Truck as well. and they came out on March 9th. [redacted] (City Manager) and [redacted] came by to look at the truck and see what could be done to fix it. They had a print out from a Truck Forum that contained people with cracked dashboards and was telling me that it was a issue and the Chevy was doing a recall. I asked him to get me a service bulletin from Chevy saying that it was a recall. No recall exist from Chevy. I called [redacted] and gave them my VIN number to make sure and there is no re-call on the dashboard. Also the Gas door operating mechanism was damage as well and we have to use a plastic spoon now to open it. On March 12 [redacted] called and Said that They would not accept Liability b/c they felt like they did cause any damage to the truck. We have tried to get in contact with Spiffy by sending multiply emails, Phone Calls, and Facebook Messages and NO ONE EVER gets back to Us. We even submitted request through the website, Have gotten a ticket number from Spiffy and still no one responded Its unacceptable for a company that does damage to a car, say that they are not going to fix what was broken during the time of the service.Desired SettlementWe would like to have our DashBoard Replaced by a Chevy Dealership as well as out Gas Door fix so we can open it properly . We are just asking that what was broken They Fix it and have some kind of communication with Spiffy before we turn this over to our Lawyer.Business Response /[redacted]/This letter is a formal response to your complaints about #4 Awesome Detail service on March 2, 2015. We have reviewed all aspects of your service and the following are our findings:1. Two operations managers visited site to investigate the service quality and potential damages.2. There were some service issues on the initial service. Spiffy reserviced the vehicle and you were not charged for either of the services.3. Spiffy does not believe that we caused or are in any way responsible for your minor dash crack. The crack was pre-existing on your vehicle and a known manufacturers defect for your vehicle. Spiffy will not reimburse you for dash repairsOur reputation and your relationship are very important to us and we thank you for choosing Get Spiffy, Inc. for your car washing and detailing needs.

Charged credit card from previous payment history without out consent.Informed Spiffy that was unable to pay current bill for a couple of days until an issue with my credit card had been resolved. This was on Friday 7/17/2015. Today I find that the 79.00 charge had already been billed to the credit card and cleared. this charge was never authorized for payment. The bill WAS going to be payed in full today using a different card.Desired Settlementi am wanting a complete refund and waiver of bill. I am now refusing to pay this bill due to the unauthorized debit to the credit card.Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/Yes the spiffy complaint is resolved. They have their money and no longer my business.
