Linens aren't ruined by being soiled during a week of useThey are only ruined if the stains cannot be launderedPictures of the towels were never sentAlso, while I went out of my way to come in to let you know the dog had jumped on the bed, the dogs were never even close to the towels The dog was sutured by a local vet BEFORE setting foot in the cabin so she was never there with an open wound The pet policies we were mailed in March when we booked matched the policy online as I read both, and said nothing about cratesWe'd be more than willing to pay for actual damages, but dirty sheets and towels that have not been laundered are not ruinedThere was absolutely no blood on the floor when we left - see again that the dog was never there with an open woundLastly, letting other pet owners know that while pets may be allowed, your facility is clearly not pet friendly is not a "malicious threat"Nor is complaining to the Revdex.com

Let me first of all address that you agreed to our policies regarding damages as well as our pet policy when you made the reservation as well as when you checked in, and you "not reading" the policies does not exempt you from them. You brought an injured dog to the cabin with an open wound in
which you notified us of at chebecause we so kindly directed you where to go to get the dog a new cone. You failed to bring the crates we require for a stay with a pet and left your dogs in our cabin while you were away. Immediately during your stay the injured dog got iodine all over one of our bedspreads in which you brought in and so casually told us that it should come out in the wash. When the housekeeper arrived to your cabin after your check-out there was a blanket (one of ours) covered in dog hair and blood as well as dog hair and blood on the sheets on the bed that the dogs were clearly sleeping on. There was blood all over the floor and a wet "mystery" stain on the couch that we in fact had every right to charge you an excessive cleaning fee for but waived and chose only to charge you for the replacement of the items that you ruined, all of which we sent pictures to you. These are minimal charges for a queen bedspread, a blanket, two bath towels, and one sheet set and I find it petty that you would not take responsibility for the items your pets ruined during your stay that could have been avoided had you followed our policies. Your malicious attempts to disparage our company through threats of complaints in order to get us to drop these charges will not be accepted by us. The charges will not be refunded and we feel no need to send you additional proof beyond the pictures sent to you already

It is clear we won't come to a resolutionIf that one picture is of the towel than the picture you didn't send is one of the blanketWe'll let the internet decide who is being pettyCharging a guest for stains that can be easily laundered out of linens is my definition of pettyAlso, the saddest part, is that it became clear that the reservationist (or all of you) can't stand dogsI firmly believe that this petty "dirty laundry" fee you are assessing is simply because we had dogs and followed your policy we received in March (in the attached letter) which said nothing about cratesIf we had not had dogs and you simply washed the linens as you would for ANY OTHER GUEST, I'd have written a glowing star reviewThe only thing that ruined this trip for us is your petty nickle and dime behaviorHaving spent my career in Facilities Management, I can assure you that you need to rethink your customer service policies
