Their whole claim to fame is they are supposed to make it easier for you to talk to an actual human at a customer service org within a company. In this case I wanted to call a travel insurance company. I tried using Gethuman's service where you give them your text and they wait on hold for you but A) that never happened and B) now they keep texting me to ask me how it turned out. There was a link in the text to say it was resolved but when I did that I still get a text message very other day since then asking me if the issue is resolved.

Ironically despite being a company whose sole business model is to make it so you can contact people easier there is no contact info on their website at all and there is no way to make them stop texting you. At this point I am convinced the company exists as a scam to get your phone number to give to solicitors.

Hi there thanks for letting us know and I'm sorry for the frustrating experience. Our team of developers just changed a bunch of functionality on the backend system and it looks like there are still some bugs in the system. Either way I would be more than happy to stop sending these annoying texts. I was able to search for the phone number you listed on this complaint and found two callbacks that were initiated but not completed, like you said. I just deleted all records of your phone number from our our system so the texts should stop but if you need anything else, please feel free to let me know and I would be happy to help.

Through false advertisement to speak with a human rep at the creditor services I was attempting to reach (***), I was offered to solve my issue through chat. After being prompted to type in my issue, "***" the chat rep asked me "how long has this been happening?" "What have you tried so far?" After my response ("first time issue"), I was notified that I would be put through to speak with a rep. Then there was an option to pay $4.99 for technical support to have the rep call me. My card was charged by "***" $155.88! Once realizing what happened, I went back to chat, typed in this gross overcharge complaint to "***" and I saw this response "how long has this been happening?" "What have you tried so far?" Obviously a robot! A scam! I do not know *** (Get Human) and had -no- intention whatsoever to pay any dollar amount over $4.99. Moreover, I did not receive any services, backed out of chat and aborted immediately. I want a full refund of $155.88 since I received -no- services.

Hi there, I think there may be some confusion here, GetHuman is a free online resource and we are not affiliated with ***. Since we are free and didn't charge you for any service, I unfortunately cannot refund any money. It does sound like you may have clicked on an ad on our site and in fact you were actually charged by *** so I would reach out to them and if for some reason they don't respond to you, you can always dispute the charge with your credit card company. They should be able to refund you the full amount and will even charge *** a penalty fee. I hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks

Then it says they save my email address and phone number with no opt out?

Threw out a *** slogan “We have millions of satisfied customers”.What proof?i do not want the proof but stop the bull, “millions of customers” How do we know that this is not an Asian company using a *** address?i will tell you.No expert in customer service claims that they can get *** on the phone in 2 minutes.No sight does not offer reviews. The reason that I asked for your email address is because our opt out currently only allows you to sign back into your GetHuman account to delete a post that you made on our site but not for a callback. In order to delete your account and information completely, and admin (myself) needs to be able to look up your account by phone or email number, and manually delete it. I had been trying to get *** to remove my personal information. Somehow I ended up on this GetHuman site, which posted my private communication to *** on every search engine online. Any emailing GetHuman directly will only result in my communication being publicized, and for reasons this site exists appears to be only an abuse of privacy.

I submitted a complaint on 9/5/19. This complaint was never satisfied! Attempting to contact *** to have them remove my name from their website, which they did, and it was deleted from all search engines. Yet, now, my name and my entire private conversation, I to sent *** is been posted on every search engine that I input my name. Consumers beware, If you are not aware of this business, and you are attempting to contact customer service, e.i. obtain a phone number, send a msg., etc., to a specific company, your communication can possibly end up in GetHuman public forum used in their “effort of helping others” with their issues. Per GetHuman “Search is a tricky business at times as a publisher like ourselves do not have the ability to directly contact the companies that publish search results, but as I mentioned before, they check our site quite frequently, and adjust their results accordingly.” It was a couple months ago when I sent a msg. to, I assumed, ***. Upon actually locating a phone number and speaking with them, my name was deleted from all search engines within 48 hours. Yet subsequently, my name in addition with my private msg. publicized on the internet. And GetHuman’s half- back effort in removing my name from all the search engines, which they also appear is unacceptable. Each of these search engines have direct contact information, either phones numbers, tweeter, etc. The excuse given lacks any additional effort. They have no sense of urgency, or respect for ones privacy. Their “tricky,” deceptive practice is benefits their business, and it is unethical! Simple! As it is - remove my name and my message to *** from the INTERNET,- completely - just as you posted it there, as I requested before. Regards

We have already done everything that we can to resolve this issue and this issue is closed on our end. As we've explained in emails sent on 5/9/19, 5/10/19, 5/15/19, 5/16/19, this is not an issue with GetHuman, but it is in fact an issue with the companies that produce search results. GetHuman has deleted this page per this user's request as it was made clear to us that this was a post made on our website in error. After that, there is nothing else we can do as the original request has been satisfied. This particular user has an issue with how search engines show results. That's not something that we can control and companies like *** and *** make it impossible to control actual search results for this very reason. They need to take the issue up with them and please stop sending messages to us as this problem has already been handled by us.

This business refuses to assist me with deleting my personal communication from the internet. This is my privacy they are taking lightly, all while making money using my information. They had a part in making it easy whereas I am now posted all over the internet. Per their response, they knew when they posted people’s messages on website that it would ultimately end up on all search engines. Thats their motive more advertising for their business. Further, per, their response they knew they could not delete the posts off the other search engines as a result of their scam practices. Unassuming people trying to contact a company can land in there so-called “forum”(trap), which they don’t advertise. They advertise “Get Human is a simple yet well designed support application that works to simplify customer support for the user. With a single entry of a company name users...” I only recently discovered the “*** Re: ***...” all over the internet. They work diligently to find the dates of what were my messages to ***, and attempting to show that I had emailed them so many times regarding this issue. Proof not true... in their reply to you regarding my original complaint, they requested more information from me, and asked me to email them. They failed to include their email address in their response, so I emailed you (Revdex.com) to obtain their email address, and your reply was “they did not provide one.” The complaint I currently submitted is to reopen my original complaint that was never satisfied, and I am only requesting that the Revdex.com reopen my complaint and allow it remain open within the guidelines of Revdex.com rules, or until I am able to get my information removed. My objective was to make it aware that this business only made meaningless excuses. I cannot find the right words to express my admiration for Gethuman. I am astonished and confounded indeed for Gethuman has beddazzled me.
Gethuman is an example for many to follow. What a shame that a fairly new and known entitity has surpassed the already well-known and recognized companies, services and brands.
Gethuman has helped me out in number of different ocassions and the latest one- I needed to ask a simple but essential enquiry to a well-known investmests company but the system kept me on hold for a long time and there was no time estimation of the next available agent so I decided to hung up the phone and then I was researching if that investment company had a chat service and that is when Gethuman showed up to help me out- it gave me two options wether I wanted to call and this time wait a reasonable time or to be called back. I chose to be called back. Gethuman honored its word 4 minutes after submitting my request and I got to speak to an agent from the investment company right away.
My long and uncertain wait time on the phone is unacceptable and that should not have happened. If it was not thanks to Gethuman who knows if my issue would have been solved since people do not have time to sit by the phone and waste time until a company decides that it is time to attend the customer.
Certainly, there are many organizations, companies and business who have so much to learn from Gethuman but what is worst is that many of those companies and services go on to pay self-tribute to their greatness and qualities. However, all those words end up being an overstament. Gethuman is the one to be recognized for being truthful, transparent, caring and above everything a real example to be followed.
