We are glad that the customer was able to get his air conditioner repaired and working.Unfortunately, we are rarely the low bid, and occasionally lose jobs to other contractors.Thank you,Charles *B [redacted] ***PresidentMann-In, Inc

The Revdex.com K StNW, 10th Floor Washington, DC 20005-3404Attn: *** *** RE: ID #***Dear *** ***,There are no Guarantee of Warranty Issues in this case and here is why:Mann-In, Incinstalled this system for the original owner of the house on July 7, Our
proposal for this work dated June 28, 2011, and accepted by the owner on June 28, 2011, specifically states:The four pieces of equipment installed, including the *** (*** *** ***) evaporator coil, which is the part that has failedOne year parts and labor warranty from Mann-In, IncCarrier's second through tenth year parts and labor “Customer Protection Plan” on all new Carrier equipment. On March 14, 2016, Mann-In, Incsent a service tech to the residence, now a different owner than the original purchaserThe service call was “No A/C", and the cause of the problem was found to be low on refrigerant, and the refrigerant leak was determined to be in the *** evaporator coilThis part (*** evaporator coil) is still covered by the manufacturers part warranty (until July 7, 2016) but the necessary materials and labor to install a new evaporator coil are not covered by the manufacturer or by Mann-In, Inc(see labor warranty above).Mann-In, Incquoted this owner $to install this part, including all necessary materials and labor, and make this system fully operational. At the time of the service call, the wife agreed to this price, and Mann-In, Incordered the replacement coilThe husband called on April 5, 2016, and expressed his concerns, so in an effort to keep a satisfied customer, Mann-In, Incoffered to take $off of the installed price of the new part and provide a free one year maintenance agreement on both of their zones (a $value). The customer is clearly wrong in his interpretation of the warranties to him as the second owner of the HVAC system in question. The *** coil in question had a one year labor warranty, as stated in our proposal to the original buyer, and five year part warranty from the date of installationMann-In, Incapplied for and received an extended part warranty from the manufacturer, but according to the manufacturers terms, this extended warranty "only applies to the homeowner who purchased the product and is non-transferable.”I have enclosed copies of our original signed proposal, and a copy of the *** extended warranty certificate for your usePlease do not forward these documents to the new owner or post on your websites, as they include personal information.| hope this clears this matter up, but if you need more information, please do not hesitate to contact me, and please let me know the final outcome.Thank you,Charles *B***, JrPresident Mann-In, Inc
