The historic house (case [redacted] ) has been fully renovated inside prior to the tenants moving in It is our first year with tenants at this location and issues often arise from such The exterior of the house is in fair shape but we plan to beautify the exterior of the house to make it more appealing The shell of the building is not allowing animals or water to penetrate into the interior To our knowledge we have only had a bat in the building once and it most likely came in through the chimney where the flue was left open We closed the flue and removed the bat The bubbling paint around the shower was from someone unscrewing the shower nipple from the fitting and a small amount of water was getting behind the drywall We fixed this issue months ago and instead of scraping and re-mudding the drywall we covered where the shower meets the drywall with PVC trim Whenever we show the house we always give proper notice (at least hours) and knock on bedroom doors before unlocking and entering The slate roof had a missing shingle and we hired a slate specialist to come and replace the shingle He also replaced the valley metal as a precaution and stated that the roof was in good shape This was done in the fall We have never had mold in the building to our knowledge and when the roof did leak we addressed the issue and fixed the ceiling.(scraped, applied Kilz and repainted the area)Their failure to be current with their rent may be their justification of these complaints Sharp Flats Management
