Review: I purchased a used vehicle from the dealer back in october 2015. When I purchased the car I was told that I would get my spare key in the mail and I still havent received it yet. Everytime I call I am promised it will be put in the mail. Also I was recently was stopped by a police officer and given a fix it ticket for my window tints. I purchased the vehicle with the tints on the car. I called the dealership and spoke with the manager in sales and he informed me that my car has standard factory tints. I then tried to get the ticket wrote off based off what the dealer informed me I needed something in writting. I called again and spoke with a Man by the name of [redacted]. He was very rude and unprofessional. He informed me to take my car to a shop where they tint windows and see if the tints are legal and get a bill and send it to them. I did just that and was told $80. I called [redacted] back and informed him of the price and told him I would try another repair shop and see if I could find a cheaper one. He agreed to that and then also suggested that he know a mobile tint guy and he would see what they could do because they work with them all the time. The repair shop called and they are located in [redacted]. I live in [redacted] the lady informed me they would not be able to travle to me. I then called [redacted] back and informed him that I would not be able to travel to [redacted] and I would look for someone closer. He gave me attitude and basically told me that if I didnt go to [redacted] they wouldnt help me. When the sales manager I spoke with the prior week told me that they would be responsible. I feel it is only fair that the dealer accommadate me and pay for the repair at a shop closer to where I live because they sold me a car with illegal tints and my contract doesnt state as is. I want the dealer to pay the cost for the repair for the tints.Desired Settlement: I want the dealer to pay the repairs to have the tints on my vehicle to a legal tint in a repair shop close to my home. Also if this fix it ticket turns into a regular ticket they will be responsible to pay that as well. As I have been trying to handle this matter since the day I recieved the ticket.

Review: [redacted] was our service consultant. We dropped off my car so Lodi Toyota could look at the front end to diagnose the noise. When Mr. [redacted] called me he said the "estimate" would be $110 and asked if I was ok with this. I agreed and we picked up the car at the end of the day to find out that it was not an "estimate" of repairs but a charge to perform a multi-point inspection. I do not appreciate being misled whether it was intentional or not, I don't know. Secondly, the multi-point inspection showed that there were no fluid leaks. Multiple mechanics and the radiator fluid and windshield washer fluid on my garage floor reveals otherwise. I am left to believe that Lodi Toyota did not perform a multi-point inspection, but instead charged me $110 to look at the front end.Desired Settlement: Refund of my $110.00

Good Morning, Regarding the complaint filed by [redacted], I recieved a survey from Mr. [redacted] addressing his concerns during his latest visit. I called [redacted] to go over the recommendations as well as the multi-point inspection that he was not happy with, at the beginning of the phone call [redacted] said he doesnt have time to talk to me and I tried to let him know to call me when he had a chance so we could resolve the issue but he hung up before I could finish. I would like to still discuss the issues that Mr. [redacted] has with his last service. Regarding his last service we performed a diagnosis for a noise from the right front side when driving over uneven surfaces. My technician found both power steering rack and pinion inner tie rod joints with excessice play. We recommended to replace the power steering rack and pinion due to inner tie rods not available. We did perform a courtesy multi-point inspection and advised of brake and tire readings with no notes of leaks. I would also like to reinspect Mr. [redacted]'s vehicle to verify the leaks at no charge. I look forward to hearing from you so we can resolve the issue. Thank you, [redacted] Thank you, [redacted]

Review: Lodi Toyota will not repair my GPS which is under warranty.Example if I am in Lodi for repairs and on Hwy 99 and I program the GPS to go home( my home is a few blocks from Hwy99) the GPS insists that I take the surface streets, which in this case a normal 30 min ride turns into a 1 1/2 hr ride. The Toyota dealer stated that this is normal,even after one of there Tec s stated that it needed repair or replaced. They suggested that I upgrade the system at my cost to see if this is the problem and if I do it may not solve the problem. Remember this car is under warranty. Called Toyota and they stated the dealer refuses to to do up-grade and that is up to me. This could be a safety problem. A GPS should be trustworthy.Desired Settlement: Repair or replace the GPS

I have been in contact with the consumer regarding his navigation concern, I have talked to him attempting

to personally check the operation of a like vehicle with the same navigation system to verify the navigation operation. This attempt

was to be able to check the operation of another system to verify settings and the map directions compared to Mr. [redacted] vehicle,

unfortunately we have not had a 2012 Avalon come in to the service department to perform a comparison. I have left a message

with Mr. [redacted] to arrange a time and day to recheck the navigation system and settings. I will continue to investigate the issue until

a remedy is found.
