To Whom It May Concern: My name is *** *** and I am the Property Manager at Roper Mountain Woods Apartment Homes*** *** moved into Apartment *** on April 13, On April 21, 2017, *** contacted the leasing office stating that she found dog hair throughout the apartment
and her son is very allergic to any kind of animal hairI asked if she was home and headed right over to look aroundI found a little bit of dog hair in the A/C closet of the homeI explained to *** that we walk every home thoroughly and that we pull all carpet in the home to search for any pet damage (pee stains, rips, etc.)I explained to *** that if we find damage, pee stains or if there is a heavy odor of animal smell, we replace the carpet with new carpet for the next move-inTo my understanding, *** understood I said we change the carpet in every home if they had an animal and that is not the caseI, ***, asked *** & *** what they would like to be done about the dog hair in the A/C closetThey stated that they would like to transfer to another homeI told them that I would speak to my regional and let them know if that would be possibleMy regional approved their transferI called *** to let her know that I had apartment homes (same layout) available for her to look at*** and *** came to the office and I took them both over to the apartments I had availableAfter looking at both apartments, *** and *** chose apartment *** to transfer to*** explained to me that he saw dog hair in *** as well, so we went back over to look at itThere was a little bit of dog hair in the carpet and I let *** know I would re-clean the apartment myself and have the carpet professionally carpet cleaned and pet treated once more*** and *** asked me about a discount on their rent for the troubles of them having to transferI explained to them that we are a pet friendly community and that is something they knew before they leased an apartment at Roper Mountain WoodsI explained that we were transferring them at no charge as a courtesy to make things right with their move inMy regional manager also explained to them that a concession was not an optionI have attached all bainvoices to show that both apartments were professionally cleaned, carpet cleaned, pet treated and paintedI believe we have exhausted all efforts to making things right with *** and ***We truly apologize for any inconvenience they may have received Respectfully, Roper Mountain Woods Management

I am rejecting the business response for Roper Mountain because just to get them to accommodate our needs, it takes a lotManagement will either put us on a run around to who we need to talk toAnother reason is that they will try to defend the matter of the issue instead of just coming and fixing the issue or they will not answer mine, nor my fiancé phone callsThe issues are only getting worseI had a packaged delivered to my apartment, which was stolen, and now there is a bubble in our guest bathroom ceiling (times the size of a baseball) that my son uses, which is now leaking waterThis matter was reported to the business. In the attached pictures above it only shows percent of the cat hair that was in our apartment that we had to do an excessive amount of cleaning and scrubbing(apartment was flooded with excessive amount of animal hair)Also, in the attached pictures above, you will notice the boarder chipping with paint because we had to scrub so hard to remove the pet hair that the paint was coming off because the pet hair was embedded in the wall with paint( business just painted over pet hair)Also, attracted to previous documents shows that the refrigerator panels were broken before we moved in, which the business is trying to charge us for .We also have more pictures to send to you if necessary

The resident came into the office on 05/1/2017 to sign her lease renewal. At that time, she told me she had a water stain that she wanted taken care of. I asked her if there was a present leak and she replied with the answer no. On 05/23/2017 she put a work order in for a bathroom leak. A...

maintenance guy went into the home, but did not find a leak. The maintenance guy did say that the bathroom ceiling needed to be re-textured. The resident requested to be called before anyone entered her home. We tried several times to get in touch with her to schedule the repair, left several messages, but never heard anything back from her. At that point, we sent her a notice on 06/02/2017 that [redacted] would be entering her home on Tuesday 06/6/2017 to complete the work. When the painters went in her home to do the work they found it was currently leaking. We found out then that the leak only happened when the apt above her used their shower. My maintenance guy then went into the home above her and replaced the tub drain assembly. That fixed the problem. On 06/7/2017 we replaced the sheetrock where the leak occurred and on 06/8/2017 the area was re-textured. The work has been completed.

To Whom It May Concern:The carpet in Apartment [redacted] was replaced on **/**/2015 (see invoice attached). D[redacted] J[redacted] & D[redacted] J[redacted] occupied the apartment starting **/*/2015. The carpet was brand new at the time of their move-in. When we walk an apartment upon move-out, we pull the carpet because you cannot see stains from the top of the carpet. D[redacted] J[redacted] and D[redacted] J[redacted] moved out on 06/8/2017. When we walked the apartment for damages, we did find stains on the back of the carpet (see attached pictures). Our carpet has a 5-year life span. Good morning - We have been looking for the lease agreement and have been unable to locate it, though we have the other requested documents. We're still disorganized since our move and evidently misplaced the lease. I'm assuming that means the complaint will be closed. I'm sorry for the failure...

to follow through on our end and thank you for your time! Sincerely, D[redacted]
