GF Mgmt was the receiver for hotel in which we purchased a loan. When we initially took over as the lender we found GFM had two District Managers, in addition to a GM, entire salary on the payroll as well as numerous other GFM employees who spend little to no time with the property. When we took over the property via a foreclosure and refused to retain them due to very poor over all performance, they refused to use the cash they retained to pay vendors telling most that they were broke and the new owners refused their funding requests. They were a state court appointed receiver and never once sought any money via thee receivership. They had nearly $300K in cash when their services were terminated and no accounting has ever been provided.
Further, all e-mails and phone calls to discuss outstanding items go unreturned/unanswered. This groups is, at a minimum, very unprofessional.
Watch your expenses and watch your cash with these guys as they will take advantage of people who don't pay attention.
