says that the room I booked is a "Two Bedroom Balcony Suite", at $289 a night, not a one bedroom with a sofa bed.  When I called to say when we would be in, they said no problem   But they gave away our Suite at 6pm, because we were not there, and then put us in a one bedroom with the "sofa bed" was actually a sofa love seat, wide enough for one person.  We originally accepted it because this was [redacted] college graduation and all the other places were booked.  It had a queen bed, but no door on the bedroom.  My daughter and her fiancé and my wife were coming from NYC, and I called them and my daughter found us a room at the downtown [redacted], so we left   I told the woman at the desk that the switch of rooms was not going to work and that we were leaving.  She said she would take care of cancelling the reservation.   I was the one who checked in, and only did so initially because we didn't think we had any other options.  We would certainly not have left if we had been given the room we booked.  I can send you a copy of the original email confirmation, which will show that that what we booked was not as he says.  They switched us after they had told me on the phone that being late that night would not matter, and then tried to give us the one bedroom, love seat sofa bed.  The only reason I checked I was because I didn't think we had another option.  But we found one and left.  And the woman at the desk knew it, and why.  And they told Amex that there was no sign that we left.  All lies; they just kept our money when they knew we didn't stay there   Regards,
