Review: GFR performed a tub re-glaze at the property listed in the complaint. The tub has several areas of where it is peeling. I have placed many calls over the past few months to have the glaze repaired under the warranty that GFR has committed to. There have been at least 3 appointments made over the past few months of which nobody ever showed fro the appointment. I have spoken to several people and left many messages all to no avail. I never get a call back when the appontments are missed nor does anyone ever return my phone messages.Desired Settlement: All I am asking for is the company to repair the tub that is under warranty. In doing so I am requesting an appointment for the repair service to be made promptly and the company to follow through on its appointment to repair the tub.

Review: In September 2012, I had my bathtub refinished for $325. The guys who were sent did a poor job and the owner had to come and fix the issue. I was charged for a special "non-slip coating" on the bottom of the tub. This was never done either. A year later, the finish had started to bubble and peel off. I have been calling them for over a month and have not had anybody come and resolve the issue. They constantly tell me that "Someone will get back to me" and it never happens. I had an appointment for [redacted] to come and fix the issue, but he never showed up, nor was a call made to me saying that he was not coming, nor did anybody call to reschedule. On 10/23/2013, I called for a 5th time and was told "[redacted] would get back to me by the end of the day". Nobody ever called.
I followed the instructions on how to care for it to a "T". No abrasives, etc.Desired Settlement: I would either like them to re-do the tub or refund me my $325.

Response:
As Mr. [redacted] bathtub was refinished in 2012, it is covered under our standard Warranty. The needed repairs were completed, at no charge, on Friday., November 1, 2013. Repairs were made to Mr. [redacted] satisfaction. As a courtesy, the Owner made a follow-up telephone call to Mr. [redacted] but was unable to make contact.
