I have no doubt the people that work/run this business are very nice people and I support small regional business and think the are very important however I think everyone needs to be really careful when they start a lawn program (in this case) that they are getting what they expect. Now, they have removed me from their service and several have reached out to me to apologize but I just think people need to be aware; and also didn't charge me for the one lawn service they provided.. I wanted an organic lawn service, was told that they used all organic products and came home to find a sign in my lawn to keep children/dogs off the yard. Well, I have three dogs - hence my concern for organic - and this was covered completely when the salesman called. Well, I naturally called when I saw the sign and was told it was safe an hour after it had been applied - which an hour hadn't passed so I was told on the second call it was "ok" to let them out. Then I was told they are required by law to put the sign in the yard so neighbors were aware the yard had been treated - to be sure if they were walking their dog/children they were aware. I found that a little disturbing - we need to worry about other dogs/children but not my dogs (or that's how it came across to me). I also checked their website and there was nothing listed about using organic products. I was very upset, have calmed down and do appreciate all the apologizes and calls I received; however I feel people need to be careful with all businesses and be sure that what's discussed on the sales call is actually what you are getting. I'm not trying to hurt this business and I do hope they are successful, I just need to know that when I discuss something - with any business - that's what I expect the outcome to be; or I don't do business with them. I realize there's more cost with organic products and I realize I told the salesman I was on a budget; but in the end it should be my call (the customer) as to what service I ultimately want; and if what I choose is too expensive for me then yes you probably won't get my business; but you won't get/keep my business either if I don't feel things are represented correctly.
