This letter is in regards to a complaint made by customer # *** On 7-05-I signed a contract with the complaining customer to remove some concrete in front of her home and replace it with new and to remove Her upper shingle roof and replace it with standing seam Metal RoofingUpon the
request of the Homeowner, we delayed the starting date until 8-29-My crew showed up and removed the upper shingle roof, and the lower front shingle roofThe front shingle roof was not to be removed, but I immediately told the Homeowner that I would be replacing this section free of chargeWe then removed the concrete, and poured the new concrete, while the Roofing foreman was making the components for the Metal roof at the shopThis process usually takes a couple daysI had a manpower issue that caused the roof to be delayed a weekI didn’t plan it but it worked out that wayI did wait over a month to start the job, and some other jobs were started, I explained this to themThe weekend came and it rained, and there was water damage to the ceilings in two areas of the house, and one area in the atticI sent someone immediately the following morning to address the issue, as I was in another state that weekendThe employee that I sent covered the roof with a tarp that was large enough to do it, (My cost 80.00)I returned on that Monday and had a meeting that unexpectedly reduced my crew to less than halfI explained this to the customers, and then proceeded to find a roofing crew who would come in on short notice to finish this project up, and they didBy the time I received the notice from the Revdex.com, the job had already been completedI have made several attempts to repair the damage to the ceilings, with ZERO cooperation from the customerThey told me that they would get it done and send me the billsHowever, I have well qualified personnel who can perform the necessary workI have been trying to come to an agreement on what they want on the ceilings to no availI understand the frustration of situations like this, and I also know that I have handled all issues regarding this job with respect and speedI would like to repair the ceilings and close this fileThanks, Christopher S*** CSConstruction
