This company cheated me out of my money they made me sign a contract I wasn't aware of when they came to our house to advertise the security systemi only knew about the year contract when they finished installing the equipment,which took more than a day even though they said it would only take a couple of hours, they just told me to sign some papers and then they told me about the contracti wasn't happy at all so when I stopped paying the bill they sent me a paper saying I have to pay a $settlementWhen I called the collection agency they wouldn't even give me a payment plan to pay off the $and they put it on my credit reportNow im over here trying to figure out a way to solve this

On the morning of 8/2/2016 (a Tuesday morning), between 8am and 10am, I tried to find the correct numbers and made several attempts to contact someone at GHS who could speak with me regarding my current contract. I tried the 5 different numbers listed below with no success. [redacted] : Service cancellation number listed on GHS website, answer, followed by silence, then a hang up [redacted] : Customer support number listed on GHS website, spoke with someone at a call center who took a message for a call back [redacted] : Customer support number listed on alarm.com, reached same call center as above [redacted] : Sales number listed on GHS website, spoke with an actual person who tried to help but said GHS was closed (at 9:30 cst on a Tuesday morning). [redacted] : [redacted] , TX office, no answer, left a message Ironically, it seemed too difficult for GHS to find some time within their advertised 24hr support schedule to actually provide support. Hopefully they have success with improving their customer support.

I wasn't happy at all so when I stopped paying the bill they sent me a paper saying I have to pay a $4000 settlement. When I called the collection agency they wouldn't even give me a payment plan to pay off the $4000 and they put it on my credit report. Now im over here trying to figure out a way to solve this.

Ironically, it seemed too difficult for GHS to find some time within their advertised 24hr support schedule to actually provide support. Hopefully they have success with improving their customer support.

Me and my husband have been using GHS services now for 1 year and we love the ability to see into our home when our kids are with the sitter. We also enjoy the two way voice feature that allows us to speak with a live dispatcher when our system is triggered. This feature has saved us hundreds in false alarm penalties.
