This weekend, I attended the same Expo at which I met the Gia Wellness representative some time agoI spoke with several vendors who clearly had their guarantees and refund policies posted very visibly and who assured me that they would always refund a customer's money if they were not happy with the productFor the record, I have NEVER requested a refund on this nature in the past, despite joining quite a number of MLM companies, such as *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** and othersHowever, that is really irrelevant to my complaint in any case.

We received a call from Ms [redacted] yesterday - 10/14 and she was told that our return policy is you can return anything purchased within 30 days for a full refund - used or not. We are lenient with that policy to include shipping time. Her purchase was made July 28th but she wouldn't have received...

the product until early August. Any product that is unused and in resalable condition can be returned for up to 90% of the purchase price for one year. That is a very fair return policy. Ms [redacted] was told that we would contact the representative that sold her the product and get back in touch with her. She told us that she returns many product years after she purchased them and always get a refund. The fact that she felt she needed to complain to the Revdex.com without giving us a chance to do our due diligence makes me think she's done this before. We stand by our decision to not issue a refund.

Review: I purchased products from a representative of GIA Wellness. She called to tell me about a weight loss program, GIATrim and I called the company to find out more about the product. I was concerned with the cost and agreed to buy the system when I was told there was a money-back guarantee if I was dissatisfied and I was assured there was no risk. I am supporting my daughter, who is a disabled veteran and also have a dad in a nursing home so funds are very tight. I joined my salesperson's team and followed the 30-day program, which I started around August 1 of this year. At the end of the program, I let my salesperson know that I hadn't lost any weight. She said she would let someone at the company know. I was unable to follow up with her due to family circumstances but I never received a refund. I called the company today and was told that their money-back guarantee was limited to 30 days. I couldn't have requested a refund within 30 days because I ordered in July and it took about a week for delivery and the 30-day program would already put me outside the 30-day return. This information was not disclosed when I made the purchase. I am an avid online purchaser and have had very few problems with online sales. I also buy a lot of supplements and cosmetics and, in the past, any request for a refund has been honored with no questions. What is the point of a money-back guarantee if you really can't get your money back. A money-back guarantee is a promise of satisfaction and not an ordinary return. I find this practice to be unscrupulous and the customer service rep I called, who I believe was named Kristen, was very rude over the phone and told me I had purchased the products "a long time ago." There is a huge market of weight loss supplements and I could have purchased much lower-cost products from a reputable company. I'm not in the habit of making many returns but I made the purchase on the promise of the company's guarantee and expect it to be honored.Desired Settlement: I expect a full and prompt refund, as the company represented to me when I made the purchase. A 30-day return policy does not apply to a money-back guarantee, which is a guarantee of satisfaction that the product will perform as advertised, which it did not. Thank you for your assistance.

Reputable businesses stand by their products and honor their commitments, which was a guarantee of satisfaction or a full refund. I reported within a 30-day period of receiving the products that they did not work for me. I had no problem with [redacted], my distributor from whom I have purchased products in the past, and she and her husband have been very helpful. I personally spoke to a company representative and had an oral contract that I was purchasing the products at no risk. Further terms or qualifications were not mentioned.
