I am rejecting this response because: We stand by our complaint based on the financial loss, quality of life and the stress and inconvenience our family is enduring due to the lack of experience and professionalism by Mr*** and Giant Construction (aka Giant Builders Inc.)

Please direct all further correspondence regarding Mr. [redacted] and his company to my office at the address listed above. It is my understanding that on or about November 6, 2015 you...

entered into a contract with Giant for the construction of room addition to your residence located at [redacted], California (hereinafter "Subject Property") in exchange for the sum of $167,962.00. Pursuant to this agreement, my client prepared the plans, obtained the necessary permits, and began construction of the room addition. As Giant was completing the work on the Subject Property, you informed Mr. [redacted] (in June, 2016) that you did not want Giant to finish the project. Pursuant to this request, you entered into a separate agreement with Giant on July 19, 2017 whereby Giant would finish the framing in exchange for the sum of $8,000.00 and then Giant's contractual obligations to you would be terminated. Giant completed approximately 85% of the framing before you told Mr. [redacted] (on behalf of Giant) that you wanted Giant to complete the framing, but that you would not be paying the previously agreed-upon price of $8,000.00. Despite Mr. [redacted]'s request that you pay for the work that was completed by Giant, you have failed and refused to do so. Additionally, you have made false and defamatory statements about Mr. [redacted] and Giant on the Revdex.com's website, on w-ww.checkbca.ora, w-ww.buildzoom.com, and Angie's List. As such, DEMAND IS HEREBY MADE that, within ten (10) days from the date of this correspondence, you remit the sum of $6,800.00 to Giant for the framing completed before you breached the contract. DEMAND IS ALSO MADE that you immediately cease and desist from making false and defamatory statements about Mr. [redacted] or his company and that you immediately remove all defamatory statements about Mr. [redacted] and his company from the aforementioned websites and any other social media websites where you have criticized Mr. [redacted] and Giant, Giant has lost a significant about of business due to your comments and if the comments are not immediately removed, I have been instructed by Mr. [redacted] to file a lawsuit against you for defamation. Please be advised that if I pursue a lawsuit against you for defamation, I will also seek to recover the $6,800.00 that you owe to my clients and will seek attorneys fees as well.Sincerely, TYLER H.
