Giant Inland Empire R.V. Center, Inc. Reviews (27)

I am rejecting this response because:We did not leave without paying a bill. They did not present a bill, nor have they ever presented a bill. Also our inaccuracy's. Please someone needs to explain something, why do we need to go through warrenty company,  on a brand new, off the lot equipment. I would like our phone calls be reviewed by corporate and then tell me if there are inaccuracies.

the consumer has supplied the info require for Giant to complete the reg process and plates should be received from DMV shortly. In response to the tire concern, the vehicle was sold AS IS with full disclosure.

CUSTOMER RECIEVED ORIGINAL DIAGNOSTIC ESTIMATE OF 600.00. UNIT HAD BEEN DISASSEMBLED BY CONSUMER .DURING DIAGNOSTIC THE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH AND RELAYS WERE REPLACED DUE TO BURNED CONTACTS. CUSTOMER WAS REFERED TO CHASSIS REPAIR CENTER DUE TO NO...

POWER THROUGH COLUMN. DIAGNOSTIC BILL REDUCED TO 2.0 LABOR PLUS PARTS. WE CERTAINLY COULD HAVE HANDLED REPAIR AS SUBLET FOR CHASSIS SHOP BUT FELT IT WOULD BE BEST FOR CUSTOMER TO GO DIRECT FOR COMPLETION OF REPAIR
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2015/08/10) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
The steering column was disassembled when they had told me it was repaired. It took the business a month and a half to work on it and the turn signal assembly was replaced but the steering assembly was still disassembled. The job was not completed. I called and the service dept supervisor told me that he originally told me they could not fix the electrical problem. I wouldn't pay to tow the vehicle there if they had told me that. The owner or supervisor was supposed to call me back. I never got a call. I read other reviews of the service department and found similar complaints. I accept the response and do not want a refund but I think people should be aware of the lack of responsibility from this business.

I am rejecting this response because: Salesman described that tires would be right or made right before delivery - Cannot see dry rot through normal consumer view of tires. This is a SAFETY ISSUE. This is a Lemon Law issue that will be brought up with the California Dept. of Justice/California Attorney Generals Office. Giant RV can resolve this EQUITABLY or we will see them in court.

We here at Giant RV did more than honor the 15% discount coupon.
When reviewing the repair order the lp tank list price is $2253.90, then sale price given to the customer is $1749.00, which is a savings of over $500.00, also the shop labor rate...

is $127.00 per hour, the customer was only charged $100.00 per hour. both of these discounts were above and beyond the 15% discount as states on the coupon. As for the carpets stains the repairs only required on trip inside to coach for a lp pressure test, so multiple foot prints would be difficult to complete, but if the customer wishes to bring the coach back I will have our cleaning crew shampoo the foot prints from the carpets.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/03/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They did clarify the invoice - something we requested when we picked up the motorhome but ignored us. We're satisfied with that. They offered to clean the carpets IF we drove the motorhome into one of their shops. We live almost 100 miles away from their repair center and it took us well over 2 hours to get there in LA traffic. The cost for us to drive to one of their facilities would exceed the benefit of getting the carpets cleaned by then, not including the time investment to do so. We would have been happy with them offering some carpet cleaning solution when we brought the entire issue to their attention. In fact, the Giant rep said he would 'do something'. We thought he'd address it right away. We talked to him about the long drive and traffic just to get to the repair center but when it came time to make good he just brushed it off. The lady from Giant we spoke to on the phone was going to 'get back to us' when we told her how far it was to get to any of their locations, but she never got back to us either! Very disappointed in customer service. It seems they just want to get you in, collect your money, and get rid of you.
