I have not received any resolution from said business for money owed to meOn Feb 10, I entered into an agreement with Larry Gibbons for - Installation of one 3xHood System with Exhaust Blower - Electrical wiring -Fresh air damper from AC to Hood system after signing the agreement I gave MrGibbons a check and he accepted for $to begin workMrGibbons visited my business twice after accepting and cashing my $check, but, did not commence any workHe said he needed to call the state building inspector and get the go ahead from him, then he said he needed to build a hood for me since he could not find a used one that would conform to inspection requirements, then he said he was just super busy and had not had time to get started on work at my businessWhen May came around and still not one hole or one screw had been put in place to get the installation of my hood started I after numerous calls and voicemails was able to talk to MrGibbons (after visiting his restaurant at about 6am) was able to talk to him and express my concernsI told him since he had not started anything I wanted to cancel the installation of the hood and I told him I would like my money backHe stated he did not have it and would get it to me as soon as he couldI called him about once a week after this to find out when he would have my payment and he kept stallingFINALLY on July 14th after I visited his restaurant almost daily for that week, MrGibbons gave me a payment of $and said he would give me the rest laterToday is September 21st and I still have not received another payment from himI hope you can help me get my money back as I only want what I gave himI rescinded on the contract we signed because in monhts he did not get any work started and I don't believe he was going to get any work startedI in full faith and trust gave him a half down payment expecting my hood to get installed.TranslateDesired Resolution:RefundselectDesired Outcome:When MrGibbons gave me the $on July 14, he had a document drawn up stating that since I rescinded on the agreement he was going to keep $of the $I gave himHe was charging me for phone calls and drawing made in order to get the work approvedI believe that is fair, but, I would like said drawing given to me as I am paying for them in the $he is keeping and I would also like a record giving, dates, times, minutes and persons talked to regarding my hood installationI am also paying for those phone calls so I would like to know exactly how much those said calls costI would also like the approval letter or document or copy of email from the state building inspector, approving the projectIf this is given to me I do not have a problem giving him the $After these deductions he owes me, if $is paid to him, he owes me $as he is the owner of two storage units ($30.00each for July, August, September) I am renting and he is deducting the rent of those storage units from the $check I gave himThank you in advance for your help

Good morning, since I filed the complaint MrGibbons has only paid back $of the $I initially gave himHe is now saying that he will deduct $from the $for phone calls he made to the state bldgInspector and for the drawings of the work to be done. All of
this after numerous phone calls and messages from me because MrGibbons makes absolutely no effort to contact me

Mr. Gibbons visited my business twice after accepting and cashing my $3000.00 check, but, did not commence any work. He said he needed to call the state building inspector and get the go ahead from him, then he said he needed to build a hood for me since he could not find a used one that would conform to inspection requirements, then he said he was just super busy and had not had time to get started on work at my business. we have already responded to this but shall do it once again. the matter is resolved. the customer broke a contract signed and valid with us. we made and agreement with her to return any monies she is owed from the down pmt as time permits. She broke the contract and we did not have to allow it but we did. Therefore I do not expect to hear any thing more from this. It is resolved.
