I am rejecting this response because:I pre-paid in full for FOUR Fertilizer applications. I received TWO. I cancelled my service and their emails even acknowledge that I would receive a refund. Please hold this shady business accountable.Thank you,***

We have attached a copy of the email document. We do not show record of ever receiving his original email on 6/26/17. We asked him several times to forward it to us (his sent email from 6/26) so we could investigate.Also we never received a phone call from him after he claims he sent us
an email. (most people will call if you don't respond their email if they have a complaint). He did not give us on opportunity to address the situation, he hired someone else prior tocommunicating his concern with Gibb's Lawn. We also had no other complaints on that day for any Customer's that we did before or after his application.This probably would have been cleared up if he would produce the original email with the date and time that he claims he emailed to us. As you can see on the attached document we have requested the email several times and he does not acknowledge our request for the email he claims he sent on 6/26/17he just keeps asking for the refund. The Customer pre-paid for services in April and we provided the services.  Customer cancelled without giving an opportunity to address any issues and the claimed we did not respond to his complaint.  We do not believe customerever tried to contact us and signed up with someone else prior to discussing receiving his pre-payment.  We do not refund pre-payments unless we have been contacted to resolve the issue.  Our claim is we do not have record of the original email and Customer had signed up with someone else prior to letting us resolve the complaint, therefore we do not feel we should have to refund prepayment.  Thank you,  [redacted] Gibbs.

I am rejecting this response because: 
The business DID NOT make a good faith effort to answer my question!  I am due a refund and they simply refuse.  I have attached the original invoice from Gibbs (there is nothing on the invoice that states pre-paying customer are not due refunds), an acknowledgement that they received my pre-payment and an email that states they would refund me.  They refuse to refund me.

Our response is we do not have a copy of the original email that customer said he sent claiming we did not respond to their complaint and therefore they went with another company.We have asked the customer several times to send us the copy of the original email that he claims he sent regarding his complaint.  The customer has never been able to produce a copy of that so called email,  therefore we feel we are not responsible to refund him his money.did not give us an opportunity to respond to any issues he claimed he had.  We checked our records and had no other complaints.  Again the customer did not give Gibbs Lawn an opportunity to address the complaint.  Hehired another company prior to having any conversation with Gibbs Lawn and then expected us to refund his pre-payment.  The reason he was told we would send him a check is because we were giving him the opportunity to provide us with the original email with his complaint.  We still have not received that email that he claims he sent go Gibbs Lawn with his complaint.  Thank you, Cathy
