Regarding the customer’s statement in the first sentence of their complaint about the change order #***. The change order #*** was signed by the customer on 3/18/16. However, the change order consisted of three parts. The first part had to do with modifying the contracted
cabinet. The original cabinet as listed in the contract was to be built with pull-outs, adjustable shelving and cabinet doors. Then the customer requested the cabinet be modified to have a framopen cavity to make the microwave easily accessible. Then the customer decided after the cabinet had been modified, finished and installed that she preferred to have the microwave not visible and wanted to add doors to cover the microwave, but still have easy access to it. The other two parts of that change order consisted of the customer having on the jobsite a vent to install in the existing hood assembly, the installation of the microwave and tile for the floor. The tile on the floor was an area where the new bar was installed and Gibraltar removed the tile as a no charge to the customer. Gibraltar had requested from the customer to have the tile on the jobsite so that we could schedule the tilesetter, that request was made several times. At the end, the customer decided on their own accord to not have us complete the last two parts of the change orderTherefore, on the final invoice, that particular change order #*** was amended to only reflect the cost of modifying the cabinet and adding the doors over the microwave area. That amount was $In reference to “they were supposed to change the electric to have three (3) switches on the north and south living room wall”, the contract states in item #2: reroute the wiring in the attic for electrical switches on the existing lighting with a 3-way switch on the east and west wall. Regretfully, the wall directions were misstated; however, the customers did, in fact, receive the 3-way switches as stated in the contract on two (2) walls. It was explained to the customer on the initial visit that there would be a switch on each wall. The definition of a three-way switch is: an electric switch that has three terminals; used to control a circuit from two different locations. In layman’s terms: a three-way switch consists of the light fixture and two (2) switches that control that particular light fixture and are usually positioned at separate locations. Also, there was a change in the contract at the last minute, the customer decided not to install the three (3) pendant lights as contracted, but opted for a single light fixture. The final Gibraltar invoice, #***, reflects a $credit for not installing the two (2) other pendant lightsThere were two other change orders requested by the customer on this project and both were prepared and both signed by the customer. Those two other change orders total $487.00. Finally, Gibraltar requests payment as shown on the final invoice presented to the customers. The final amount due as set forth in the contract in the amount of $1071.00, the amount of $on the other two signed change orders and the amount of $on the amended change order as listed on the final invoice. Gibraltar is only requesting to be paid what is due Gibraltar requests that the payment be forthcoming before collection steps have to be taken

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:i never had asked Gibralter to "frame out the pantry" for the microwaveI told Jeremy I wanted to be able to hide the microwave inside the pantryWhen it came it was framed out and I told Jeremy that is not what I asked forHe apologized for the misunderstanding and said he could fix itTo fix it he then put two separate doors on it that are smaller than the existing onesI will not be charged for something that Was a mistake by the companyJeremy said that charge at first was for the pull out drawers in the pantry now your saying it's for Framing the microwave and the drawers over itThere is only one two way switch when the contract stated their would be threeThat's not what we have, we only had one installedThe kitchen lights and the dining room light were never split with a switch on booth walls like the pendant light wasThe contract said three on each wall(Pendant light, dining room light and the kitchen light)You issued us the credit we deserve for only having one pendant light installedWe will not pay for your company's mistake with the pantry and for not having the lights the way we asked in the contract
Sincerely,

Response #to Complaint # ***/*** *** Regarding Mr***’s last response, we are perplexed as to Mr***’s hostile attitude. Never have we not responded in a timely manner once contacted. It should be noted that we responded to the initial complaint and performed a service call within (1) day on 12/9/Until we received the current letter dated November 7, 2016, we have not had any further telephone calls or written requests of any manner since December Mr***’s letter dated November 7, didn’t request any action on Gibraltar’s part, but according to the last sentence of the letter it’s content was considered to be informational to Gibraltar. Then all of a sudden we receive this complaint from the Revdex.com and we don’t feel it is justified. The statement in his last response, “Based on my experience with this contractor I am not surprised with his response”, is unfounded, as stated we have always responded to Mr***It is certainly Mr***’s prerogative to hire a plumber even though according to the first email to Mr*** from Blanco, the only action they suggest to be taken is to apply a couple of beads of silicone to the flange to make a proper seal. In our last response, we offered to perform that task if Mr*** would take full responsibility for any further issues resulting from the flange being silicone in place. We ***d by our position. It is obvious that Mr*** does not want the problem fixed, but wants revenge for some unknown reason

PLEASE SEE ATTACHED RESPONSE, DOCUMENTS AND PICTURES.THANK YOU

Please see attached our response to the complaint marked, "Revdex.com response [redacted]" and other supporting documents marked, " [redacted] documents for Revdex.com" which includes on the last page a response from Blanco regarding our own inquiry on the waste flange.Thank you,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: The statement by the contractor that Blanco has no installation instructions in place is absolutely incorrect. I have in my possession the instructions that came with the sink and flange that shows silicone is to be inserted under th flange lip during installation. It cant be done now without lowering the disposal and taking it apart and installing it correctly. Based on my expierenc e with this contractor I am not surprised with his response. I will hire a plumber to come do the job correctly. I would tell anyone who wants to hire Gibraltar to avoid them if they can.
Sincerely,
