We took our 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan into Gibson Auto for the owner to diagnosis why we kept getting a P301 code for the #1 spark plug after replacing the Coil pack, wires and plugs. He kept the van for 2 1/2 days and charged use $180 to replace the #1 spark plug. He stated that he had checked all of the pressures and that everything gave a good read and he was satisfied with the job. He also stated that he had removed the valve covers to make sure that there was not an issue with the heads. Three weeks later the light came back on so we called and scheduled to bring the van back in. The van set on his lot for 4 days not being diagnosed. He stated that he did not have time to work on it he had BIGGER jobs. He said that when he had told me to bring the van in he did not have work but became booked and he did not have time to fix it. He turned the light off and told me to bring the van back when I could leave it and let him drive it for a week or so. He did not even attempt to fix the problem after keeping it on his lot for one week. He says that he only put a spark plug in the van and there was nothing to warranty even though he charged me $180 for that one spark plug!!!!!! After we left from his shop the van began to leak oil so we took it to another shop and they stated that the valve cover gaskets had been damaged and needed to be replaced this cost us another $400. BEWARE of using this repair shop you may end up with a larger bill than you intended.
