Installed a replacement laminate wood floor through an insurance claim Did not replace floor with flooring of same quality as they removed Used cheapest flooring they could Installed it same day as the delivery of the flooring Floor peaked within a year Came out said it was bad flooring, flooring company sent out inspector to inspect flooring Flooring was found by inspector to be incorrectly installed The contact at Giertsen will not return phone calls for weeks or monthsWe have been yelled at by the installer saying that the inspector was lying Finally got Giertsen to admit they need to replace the floor and with the same quality of flooring we paid for year and months after our initial complaint about the floor we still have no replacement floor and it has been very difficult to get in touch with anyone from Giertsen I would never do business with them again and if I have a warranty issue with this floor it will probably be easier to rip it out and find a reputable company to install a new floor
Horrible service, poor workmanship, they don't make sure the work is done correctly and hire people who don't know what they are doingI don't know how many times they came back to fill nail holesThey took year longer then the projected finish date Don't sign the final insurance check, even though they will tell you it is standard procedure because then they don't care when the work gets done They sound like they know what they are doing, like years in business but get another contractor Hiring this company was one of my biggest mistakes in life
