Expecting payout soon, already much longer wait than quoted.

GiftCash.com asked for a picture of myself holding up my drivers license. There is no reason for them to collect such information.
The first time I used this service I was not required to send them a picture of my ID. I should add that the first time I used the service it was for twice the amount of money. Now with my second order, they suddenly want a picture of my ID/DL. Why? Their reply is:

"We'd like to let you know that we gather this information for security and verification purposes as stated in our policy. This is to ensure that we are within legal standards and ensure the continuity of our business. Also, this is to make sure the ID belongs to you and that you are sending it with full consent."

If you have a high school education you should be able to decipher that they are just trying to "data mine" information. Additionally, I did read their terms and conditions and there is nothing about sending them any type of ID.

What store asks for ID when you present a gift card?

GiftCash.com is trying to collect information using this business as a front.

Upon physical receipt of your Gift Card, GiftCash will confirm such Gift Card matches details submitted by you via the Website, including but not limited to, underlying merchant, card condition, exclusion of any usage restrictions, and current redeemable value. GiftCash may require the provision of photo identification and/or additional purchase and sale information regarding any Gift Card in order to complete the verification process."

Also, He submitted a *** Store gift card (not an e-gift card), the retailer in some scenarios do ask for identification for them to verify the cards.

Respectfully, please be informed that his Order was placed on 2/7/2020 and was canceled 2/10/2010 as he refused to send the required identification as stated on our website. Please know that his cards were never processed nor used by GiftCash.

Also, the Order was still within the timeframe and he was told that Store Credit cards take longer to process than the informed processing time.

The email sent to the BB and MY email are different. I did receive an apology email promptly from the company once I mentioned the "typo".

I'm growing tired of this back and forth. This isnt worth my time and effort.

I would just like to advise people to question the legitimacy of sending personal information online when there is absolutely no reason for it. If the store does not ask for ID when making a purchase, neither should an online retailer.

Stated I would get $130 for my $200 gift card in 10-15 days, then canceled the entire thing.
Submitted my gift card with the full Card number and pin along with a photo ID after they said they would pay me $130. They also requested I state I agree with the terms, and before I did, I asked if it was going to be a straight $130 or was there any other fees? To which they replied:

There should be no fees when we release your funds. You should receive a total amount of $130.00.

I then inquired about the status on 10/2 to which they replied:

"We ask our customers 10-15 business days for processing of their order (please note that this does not include weekends and holidays). We do our best to make this turnaround time as short as possible, but we request you to give us at least the above mentioned time frame. Please expect an email from us confirming the release of your payout."

They confirmed there would be a payout in that email and the one prior for $130.

They cancelled my order on 10/9 with no explanation after agreeing to the $130 in multiple emails. They now have this gift card number and pin and can use it at any time with no recourse.

I have all emails if you need them.

Here's an overview on the customer's orders.

For orders

All the gift cards on these orders were frozen by the retailer ( *** ). The retailer has informed us that the cards are on suspicious activity review, hence the balance on the cards are frozen.

We have advised the customer to contact the retailer (***) to reactivate the cards and send us a proof of purchase for his gift cards which we still haven't received up to now neither he has called *** and verified the cards he submitted on our site belongs to Him ( *** ). At this point, all his orders with us are canceled and they haven't been used as they are frozen by *** for suspicious activities.

For his order ***: Three cards that passed the verification process have been already paid to him, while the rest of his gift cards under this order remains canceled. As advised to the customer he has to get in touch with the retailer and unlock all the cards so we can continue processing them.

Nonpayment for Sell Order# ***

I placed an order to sell my giftcards to giftcash.com website electronically. I verified the card balances just before submitting my card's numbers to the site. Therefore, I know for certain that the balance I provided was accurate and current. Yet the following day AFTER I submitted my gift card numbers to electronically to this website, the balance to gift cards have been used. They each now hold $000.00 balance! I have not used the card balance and the Giftcash.com site is the ONLY other party which whom I have provided my card numbers to or has had access to my gift cards via the card numbers I provided to them electronically! It is clear and apparent that giftcash.com has redeemed the balance on my gift cards. However, they are denying such and now refuse to pay me the original amount which was offered.

They owe me $300. for 4 $100 gift cards. It normally takes 2 days. I have been waiting 3 weeks. GiftCash keeps stalling with lame excuses.
On June 17th I sent four (4) *** gift cards to GiftCash.com. I had already sent several 4 card orders to them previously. I purchased ALL cards on MY *** credit card & NEVER used them. So I would rather have the cash than the credit. All of a sudden that want my . D.L. # and copies of it & picture of me. I thought it was strange, yet, I complied. They steal gift cards and issue you fake echecks!!!!!
I just tried to cash a 225 echeck that I was issued on order *** and it did not clear my bank so my bank returned the check!!!! However conveniently, my 250 *** gift card that they accepted is now at a zero balance!!!!!!! They stole from me a disabled veteran and dependent wife of Veteran/DOD Civilian!!!! How can you just issue me a fake check. I would like real funds immediately !!!!!!

Since speaking witch the company via email and receiving a phone call from a number with no caller id they notified me that the check is indeed real so maybe I will correct my wording. Yes the check is real they use deluxe echecks to draft the checks for them as it presents a legitimate appearance however legitimate check or not it was returned for NSF so it is not real to me because the funds are bogus! How a business is submitting offers and having checks cut without funds in accounts is beyond me? But what I presented was accurate and they whipped the card clean because "*** gift card finished processing, and payment was sent". But how can one figure payment was sent if your account doesn't have the funds to cover the 225 check you had issued to me on your companies behalf? Their only response to this was to resubmit the check because it is indeed real. I told them I know this my bank just told me the account didn't have the funds to cover it but had already attempted one more time to see if the funds would suddenly appear however now they have been placed on a five day hold to make sure the funds would actually clear this time. So if in five days it does not clear gift cash says I can email support or text because of course the have no direct number to call. They said they would reissue a check or ACH credit me I am of course declining a check if funds do not clear twice I wont be fooled a third time. Initially they tried to say they find most customers use ***. Like this is not a banking error. I use neither bank. I use the same trusted military financial institution I have used both in service and since leaving the military. I am very disappointed as I have now found other reviews similar to mines on *** as well as other sites. These are shameful business practices.

I have heard from the company and the check cleared the second time my bank tried to process it. I do not know what happened the first time or why they did not have funds to cover it the first time, but I have up loaded proof that it was insufficient initially.

I sold a gift card to GiftCash.com and was supposed to get a check in the mail for the agreed amount. Six weeks later, I've not received anything.
On 3/14/2019, I sold a $100 *** gift card to GiftCash.com for approximately $74. I was told I would receive a check in the mail for the agreed amount. As of 4/30/2019, I have not received this check or any other from GiftCash.com. I have repeatedly attempted to contact GiftCash.com through phone, text, and online chat to resolve this matter but without success. On 4/29/2019, I managed to reach a representative of GiftCash.com through online chat to inquire about my payment. I provided this person with the date of sale and order ID. After waiting for a few minutes, this person stated a check had been sent to me on 3/16/2019. I then informed him or her I never received any such check and asked if the alleged check could simply be cancelled and a new check be reissued. He or she said 'yes'and that I would contacted by email the following day. The following day, I did not receive an email or any other attempt at communication from GiftCash.com. Early the following morning, I made another attempt at communication with GiftCash.com but was fruitless.

Desired Outcome

I want a check for the agreed upon amount sent overnight to my mailing address. I also want the tracking number provided to me for verification that something has been sent.

The check is available in PDF format that they can print and cash at any time. Delux also offers a direct deposit feature directly to their account.

We've since tried to contact the customer via the number on the account, sent them an email, and we are also happy to issue a different form of payment if they have any issues with the check.

I was not able to retrieve the check through any of the means giftcash listed here. I would appreciate if they would send me a hard check. Them doing so would satisfy me regarding this matter.

I sold a *** store merchandise card to them I received s check from the. That was linked to an account that was not valid. I contacted them and they said they would issue me another check but I received nothing but they got my 160$ gift card. And I have all of the emails and cool of check saved and I can't login to my account on their website like I never had an account with them.
