gigats didn't provide what they sayThey push you into going back to school and seem as though they have no intention of forwarding your application on to the employerFar too many questions for the reward of "just" submitting an application for a job!

I was concerned when I realized I wasn't talking to a real person but a computerized voice who presented himself, named Will, as a real person After reading the reviews on this company, I am very concerned They have my name, address and resumeI'll have to see what happens next with this company

An absolute waste of time. I applied for a position through Career Builder. At the end of the application process I was prompted to schedule a phone interview with a service called Gigats. After a VERY brief (and obviously scripted) discussion about employment preferences the conversation quickly shifted to the topic of continuing my education. From there I was transferred to an "education specialist" who asked about what areas of study I would be interested in. Finally, I was transferred to a "representative" for a specific college. This whole process wasted roughly an hour of my time and brought me no closer to finding actual employment. Disgusted by this experience, I decided to see how they were rated by the Revdex.com. Totally unsurprisingly, I appear not to be the only one who has had a negative experience with this company. All parties have sent me emails regarding "our discussion" but, after reading the Revdex.com, reviews I will not be opening them and will disregard all future communications from all parties involved. My advice: if you stumble across the name "Gigats" in your search for employment, avoid them like the plague. They will offer no concrete help with finding work and will waste a considerable amount of your time in the process.

I just got off the phone with Gigats, regarding an offer for employment. I had a bad feeling, but decided to call anyhow thinking it was a phone interview with the company I had applied with. The rep said his name was [redacted] What a mistake, talking to this person, he wouldn't answer my questions, kept repeating that he worked for employers who screen potential employees before hiring., didn't even listen to what kind of work I was interested in. In the next breath all he kept pushing was education and that he would put me in touch with an education specialist, that I can get my degree started in 1-2- months and that he would guarantee I would have a job in 30 days. He provided me with his email([redacted]@gigats.com) address to contact him if I have any questions. I was then told to ask what type of career I was interested in, and next thing I know is that Will is going to send me a job a day relating to these jobs. Something I have no experience in at all.

The education specialist [redacted], was no different, kept pushing about companies hiring potential employees with degrees and why I didn't finish pursuing mine. She was asking if she could start looking for me, and guess what within 30 seconds she found a school that I could get into to start obtaining my medical degree.

I am very fearful of this experience and wondering if the next job I apply for is going to be the same thing, and what is going to happen to my resume information which has my contact information such as phone and address?

Total scam. These people pass themselves off as employment professionals when all they are doing is trying to sell you something (schools). The companies they claim they represent for hiring should sue them.

Twice now I have been tricked into calling Gigats while trying to apply for a job. I got the operator who gave me a speech about how they were going to send me a job a day to apply to and I have never once received a job. Last year I had the same experience. I did, however, begin receiving emails from services I did not need or want. I'm looking for a job, not to go back to school. I never did get to actually apply to the job, either.

They lie and sell your information. They are NOT here to help you and you will get nothing useful out of them. Use the state job board to look for work. Those state operated job boards have every job available in the state and there is no charge and you will not have to accept services you don't need or want.

GIGATS IS A RIP OFF AND THEY LIE!!!

Yesterday, Sept. XX XXXX, my job application with [redacted] was interrupted by an online notice that I must first call an "employment specialist" at X-XXX-XXX-XXXX before I could finish my online application with [redacted] I called this number and it was Gigats. I was told that before I could finish, I must first answer the questions he had. Supposedly this was for job placement. I was told it would take close to 30 minutes so I rescheduled for a 5:00 phone call from them to finish. I then was transferred to an "education specialist" for questioning regarding going back to school. I was told by [redacted] (X-XXX-XXX-XXXX) that I would be emailed a link on which to click to be able to finish my application. Well, that was totally false. He lied to me so I called him and informed me that if I had any complaints that I could go on their website for this. I the phone call cost me 30 minutes of airtime yesterday, a waste of money for someone in my position that is seeking employment. I was supposed to finish that to turn It in to the Georgia Department of Labor on my job search. Now I cannot. It is all a scam people. Do not fall for any ploy from them or any other company regarding "furthering your education". I recommend from my experience that everyone stay far away. It would appear from other posts on the internet that I am not the only one realizing that Gigats turned out to be a SPAM scam.

I just got off the phone with Gigats and I had a similar experience to the other reviewers. The interview was scripted and the emphasis was on education. The man whom I spoke with did not know how to respond when I told him that I am enrolled in a certification program. Unfortunately, during the height of the Recession, I actually believed that these types of folks were legitimate. Fortunately, they did not get my money nor did they receive any information beyond my resume. When I realized the call was a scam, I ended the conversation after 15 minutes. When the man told me he could get me a job in a month, I actually laughed at him.

Just got off phone with Gigats rep & an education advisor. Was about 45-50 minutes, total. I submitted a resume online 8/28/14 for a customer service position with a big name co. Received prompt at the end to continue the process for a prescreening interview. I scheduled it for today & called # as instructed. I could tell it was scripted & rep was going to move to the next thing no matter what I said. Felt like he was just checking boxes & didn't wait for my full response. This was NOT the typical employment phone interview or prescreen interview I've ever had. He asked nothing about my qualifications, past work experience--the usual questions. He only CONFIRMED contact info & school level. He claimed co's use them to save themselves time. He pushed the education thing--me enrolling in classes 1-2 months & confident, practically guaranteeing he can find me a job w/in 1-2 months but did leave himself wiggle room on what he'd do if job not found in 1-2 months. He claimed they only want to send companies the best, most qualified people--yet he didn't interview me re: work experience, goals, reason for leaving, etc. I don't believe he wanted to hear anything about me saying I would consider enrolling in 6 months' time vs. 1-2 months. Anyway, I spoke w/educ advisor, who pushed the 1-2 months enrollment. When I mentioned possibly enrolling in 6 months' time, I think that slowed her roll and probably helped to end discussion sooner. Hard to believe big, name-brand companies we all know would use this type of service who over promises what they can do re: job hunt, then pushing school. I'm job hunting & that's my priority & that's what they're supposed to assist with, so why is Gigats pushing school on me when I didn't inquire. I won't say it's a scam of any type but it's not honest. That was no employment prescreen. Shame on the automotive co & shame on Gigats.

This is a 360 scam. They post jobs on Indeed.com making you think it is a different (legit) company posting. Instead they lead you to the area where you create a GIGATS account. It looks like you are applying for a job because they ask for like SSN, photo, address, etc.. You aren't actually applying for a job. After all [redacted] doesn't even use Indeed.com or any job listing sites for that matter. All these "open positions" [redacted] doesn't advertise!!!!!

This operation is a scam. They could not tell me their address or where their paychecks come from. The organization says they are recruiters for jobs, but this is not the case. I'm upset that they have my address, phone, email and my resume. I believe their business is shady and I may be in trouble because of possible identity theft.
